Artfight revenge for @ananomalyspeaks.bsky.social of Edwin

A digital painting of a thin human figure with black hair and pale skin. He is wearing a pink button down with a patterned tie and is holding a metallic urn in his hands. He has a bewildered and scared expression. He is framed by white, with a dramatic blood red splatter radiating out from his body. He is lit from below

I adored this book, it's really helped me while I've been struggling to get my plans in order for a future comic project, I totally recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about buying it!

This was supposed to be about how depressingly hot Texas summers are, but I think it speaks to a greater human experience. Really trying to commit to making a truly terrible comic, it is meditational. #makeaterriblecomicday2026 #makeaterriblecomicday

I hate these big trucks so much and I live in Texas so a lot of people I've met obnoxiously think they're badass cowboys for having one. The only reason cars like these are "safer" is because they're so grotesquely huge that it will crumple whatever or whoever it runs into.

This is why my old sedan got totaled, someone put their foot almost flat on the gas when I was passing right in front of them. I always assumed that they were not paying attention at the stop sign and by the time I was honking from them moving they couldn't see where I actually was.

He has no life outside of work, so the closest thing to hobbies he has is church, boxed wine, and watching Jeopardy! :')

I've been drawing Edwin, the main character of the webcomic I'm working on, a lot lately! He loves collecting ugly ties and doesn't want people to know he actually really loves his late mom's old cats he takes care of.

A series of doodles of a man in different poses. Lint-rolling his tie, nervously holding a cigarette, holding a gun, and sitting on the floor. Among the drawings of the man are a cat, a knife, and a rope.

Illustration of a man sitting on the floor with his hands in front of him.

The idea that the world needed #AI clip art and stock photography is some Columbus-ass bullshit. Everything 99% of us needed was already there and mostly for free and cheap. Now all that good stuff is buried in fucking garbage.

My younger sister @/marynmphotography on Insta is studying to get a degree in wildlife biology and gave me the idea for this comic. She inspires me a lot! #wildfire #vent #comic

Comic strip called "Wavering Wildfires"
Panel 1: Worried person in front of a fire "Whenever I feel like the world is falling around me, I try to think of wildfires."
Panel 2: A wildfire outside a window "Wildfires can be terrible. Seemingly happen out of nowhere and take out so many things with them."
Panel 3: A seed growing out of the ground "but eventually everything grows back fresher and stronger."
Panel 4: Person lying in bed sad "Maybe I just need one of my own "controlled burns"

Would you take out the most emotionally constipated, overtly religious, internalized homophobic, badly dressed man of 1983 out on a Valentine's Day date? He'd spend most of it talking about his ex and dead mom, but at least he's generally polite. #ValentinesDay #vday #OC #art

I LOVE EARTHWORMS 🪱 I hope this post changes my algorithm to attract more worm fans, as they are my intended audience. #worms #rain #comic

Panel 2: Worms crawling out onto a sidewalk. The text reads "And I love to see the worms that come out and join me."
Panel 3: The artist looking up to the rain with the text "Rain is my favorite weather. I think it's calming and cools everything down."
Panel 4: A close-up of a worm " So I understand why the worms are also more comfortable in it, they're built perfectly for it!"
Panel 5: A close-up on the artist looking contemplative with the text "Am I their worm?"
