Did you know you could get all your #GSC and #GA4 data in #Excel without #MCP servers? Analytics Edge has been doing it for over a decade. No account or row limits, no API knowledge, no AI hallucinations, no coding; just simple wizard selections. Cheaper than an AI subscription.

Does this mean someone pushed a big reset button somewhere and my 16 months of data doesn't really exist? @johnmu.com @glenngabe.bsky.social Oh, and why do I always seem to get 2 emails per property?

Interesting that Google's AI can make sense of the nonsensical query I found in my Bing search data.

Another data point: the number of impressions vs position shows the scraping-to-100 problem was never really eliminated, just reduced... and recently spiked again. Depends on whether your queries are being tracked, I guess. Note how there are still impressions upto position 100, then nothing.

Mike Sullivan @analyticsedge.com · 11/12/2025

Hey @glenngabe.bsky.social , something is happening... GSC has been extra slow at loading data since Thursday last, really long 'prompts' are appearing in the data, and impressions are up/positions down again (for me at least).

Experimental...a local GA4 MCP server with a simple installer that doesn't require the AI to figure out how to work with the APIs. Premise: AI's shouldn't be forced to work with raw API methods. Using AE connector tech should dramatically reduce the effort to query and process the responses.
