I fell in love with anthropology through Thomas Hylland Eriksen's Small Places, Large Issues. European anthropology is poorer, sadder, and lonelier without Thomas. We shall remember him for the remarkable way he gave life - and anthropology - meaning. easaonline.org/news/eriksen
