Why in hell is the prescription medication for a scope not covered on medical card? I had to pay about €25 yesterday, I have to get one about once a year, so have paid about €100 in total, why are they prescribing something that's not covered and why can't an alternative be used.

My dad's partner was racially abused by this guy in Clondalkin yesterday, he told her to "fuck off back on a boat" that he was going to "get his sister down" then went on about being black and something about goats. On the bus yesterday, sitting minding my own business with 3 invisible disabilities and a random old man got on and started abusing me for sitting in the accessible section. I was told a couple of weeks ago the crohns has inflamed my sacral nerves and am in severe pain with it. Ended up in tears.

I was completely unaware that the Dail has passed a bill to ban flavours, except tobacco, from vapes. I don't use flavours, but I know people who do because it helped them break away from cigarettes. Just ban disposables ffs. You can contact your TD here: respectvapers.ie/contact-your...

If you currently use fruit, menthol, dessert, drink, or any other non-tobacco flavour, this directly affects you.

For many adult vapers, flavours are not just a preference, they are the reason they were able to quit smoking and stay off cigarettes. Removing those options could make it much harder for people to remain smoke-free.

This is not something happening in the distance. It is time-sensitive, and the matter is due to be discussed on Wednesday this week. That means your voice needs to be heard now, before decisions are made without the people most affected.
