That certainly sounds like something happened during race 19, which required him to ease up during race 20. Is that conclusive proof he had an seizure, fell and caused a hairline fracture? No. Does it align with him saying that happened? I'd say so, yes 22/

She knew about his learning and developmental difficulties at the time She talked about him having an epileptic fit in her office She remembered him as a popular guy (elected SU athletics president), an inspirational speaker, charming, kind and gentle And she ran with him in the final marathon...
“Jason was about 22 years old and had just been elected athletics president.
“He’d won the post with a landslide majority because he was so massively popular. He was such an inspirational speaker and everyone at that university just loved him,” remembers Sarah.
“He was charming, kind and gentle as well as articulate and intelligent. He just gave off such a light, and he immediately made you feel like he was a friend. Everyone felt like they were his friend.”
Jason was studying for a degree in education and sports science in a college that attracted a lot of working class students, many of whom were athletes.
Sarah says that everyone he worked with knew about his learning difficulties and developmental difficulties—and that he’d once had an epileptic fit in her office. In particular, Sarah remembers Jason’s passion for fundraising for good causes.

“By the time I knew him, he’d already raised loads of money for charity. He organised lots of events,” she recalls.
“In 2010, I was with Jason on the last of the 30 marathons he ran in 35 days. Lots of people participated because he did the same route every day. A lot of the other students would meet up with him and run some of the way with him.
“A whole bunch of us ran with him for the second half of his last marathon. We all ended up in Sloane Square, in Chelsea. I’ve got photographs of him with the various T-shirts he wore, emblazoned with the charities he’d been raising money for.
“I can only vouch for the things that I know to be true. And these runs were true. He wasn’t an ordinary person. He was extraordinary.”

A week ago, this interview with a friend of his, who had known him since 2008, was published The day before he resigned, she tried to tell him he'd be OK He replied, saying that everything he had achieved was ruined and that he was broken 12/ socialistworker.co.uk/anti-racism...
Sarah Carney exchanged messages with her old friend Jason Arday on Tuesday 4 August, in the midst of the racist witch-hunt against him. It would be the last time she would hear from him.
Arday was pronounced dead at his south London home on Friday.
“I reminded him of how he’d come back from the defeats he’d faced in life,” Sarah told Socialist Worker. “And I said, ‘You will overcome this’.
“But Jason replied, ‘Not this time, Sarah. They always win.’
“He said everything he’d achieved was ruined, and he was ‘broken’.
“And he told me that the moment he walked through the doors of Cambridge, he was told they would destroy him.”
The next day he resigned from his job at the University of Cambridge, where he had been the youngest ever black professor.
