Maak het onderscheid. Demonstreren met je zware machines hoeft niet. Het enige doel is intimidatie. Want protesteren kun je ook zonder. Gewoon op een veld, staan op een snelweg, vastlijmen, als dat je ding is. Je kiest een tractor, niet als symbool maar omdat je weet dat ze je niet kunnen stoppen.

Tuurlijk zijn die er, die waren er ook tijdens de pandemie maar als je elke 'rust' periode wacht en te weinig plant en voorbereid, samen met scholen etc. Dan loop je hierop vast. Dus wat dat betreft, laten we maar zien wat er geleerd is.

Niemand ging licht over de scholen. Maar verder was het gewoon faalhazen politiek tot op de dag van vandaag met dit soort uitspraken. Want was als de volgende pandemie wel jongeren hard treft? Dan gaan dit soort uitspraken leiden tot uitstel van maatregelen. Is is kortzichtig en populistisch.

Fascinerend betoog van de mensen die ageren tegen schoolsluitingen. Het laatste en zwaarste middel en er is meer tussen open en dicht. Maar betoog Rosenmöller: 'Conclusie moet zijn: we gaan geen scholen meer sluiten', is bijzonder kortzichtig om als algemene stelregel te handhaven.

What I meant, is that you miss a lot of 'cases' . Even if 50% that would be high. With the lack of npoc diagnostics, the question become what you can derive in terms of sensitivity/specificity to narrow down case definitions and become better at classification (used case defs are ways different).

With a roughly 50% confirmed, that would be a high number. That said the case definition of suspect cases is broad and complex. It underlines the importance of using every outbreak to retrospectively test case definitions. But also the need for diagnostics closer to facilities. Why?

Verder hebben we na de eerste golf geadviseerd om destijds om een tussentijdse evaluatie uit te voeren (zeer gebruikelijk) dit werd verworpen, zouden ze na de pandemie doen, die vervolgens jaren lang duurde.
