Incredibly depressed lately. So much is body image related that I wish I didn't care about. (Are people lying to me when they say, "you look good"? Because I'm seeing the opposite.) Some is financial, of course. And some is circumstantial and I just don't even know how to talk about it right now.

And this is just my complaints with the process of logging on and clocking in, not all the other bullshit going on. No warnings were given about the time clock change. Everyone was just confused when they logged in and not sure what to click. An email about the change didn’t come out until 1pm.

I’m so sick of my company’s bullshit. A couple of weeks ago, I could not logon to Citrix for 30 minutes and had to call IT. This week they changed how we access our time clock, adding an extra step. This morning, I’m forced to restart this stupid PC to install some new version of Citrix.

I picked up some CDs at the antique mall on Sunday (thrift store was a bust this round). The ones without cases are from a binder and were $1. I used to have these Britney CDs but I’m not sure what happened to them. I wish I’d found more Dolly, but alas. Still a good haul.

Since I’ve revived my iPod classic recently, I’m going be taking it on my cruise. I got a silicone sleeve for it. I used to have a clear case on it but that’s long gone - I think I broke it? Anyway. I ordered a Bluetooth adapter that fits the aux port so I hope that works so I can use my Beats. 🤞🏻

Anyway, it has been fun to revisit the Old Ways from the before times. I might go borrow some CDs from the library to add to my collection. I freed up about 22GB from my 80 GB iPod Classic by removing problematic musicians and HP content.

That said, I am hoping to get a MacBook Neo by the end of the year. I'm well overdue for a new computer and this 2014 Mac made me a convert since it has held up so well. My old PC laptops never lasted longer than a year before developing issues, mostly battery related.

Speaking of my old Mac, I'm typing to you on it right now! I got this MacBook in 2014 using some of my student loan money going into my final year of getting my Bachelor's. It still has a decent battery life considering its age, and aside from some memory and space issues, is functional.

I was able to rip several CDs easily, though I had to manually update the album information, including downloading album art via my MacBook (itself probably on the way to becoming obsolete as it is incapable of updating beyond Big Sur 11.7.11) and then uploading it to the PC on a USB drive.

My ancient PC can't support internet access anymore - the latest versions of various browsers simply are not supported on that old operating system, but that is perfectly fine. I brought it home to clean up the files on it and to use it as a sort of media management machine.

I brought home my old PC and now I'm ripping some CDs to my old iPod classic. This old PC (bought in 2009, last used around 2014) is not currently connected to the internet so I have to add the details of the CD manually. But it's working! LOL

As a character study for La’an this episode of SNW works and is on par with the Level Five Transporter Accident as a character study for Spock, but with 10 episodes a season, and this being the second to last episode of the second to last season, was this really the best use of time? I don’t know.
