I picked up some CDs at the antique mall on Sunday (thrift store was a bust this round). The ones without cases are from a binder and were $1. I used to have these Britney CDs but I’m not sure what happened to them. I wish I’d found more Dolly, but alas. Still a good haul.

Since I’ve revived my iPod classic recently, I’m going be taking it on my cruise. I got a silicone sleeve for it. I used to have a clear case on it but that’s long gone - I think I broke it? Anyway. I ordered a Bluetooth adapter that fits the aux port so I hope that works so I can use my Beats. 🤞🏻

I brought home my old PC and now I'm ripping some CDs to my old iPod classic. This old PC (bought in 2009, last used around 2014) is not currently connected to the internet so I have to add the details of the CD manually. But it's working! LOL

My other favourite swag item that I found while walking around was this Sam Neill tribute bandana.

A red bandana themed around Jurassic Park. Each corner bears an icon, triceratops skull, t-rex, dilophosaur, skull, and a raptor claw. The center has the years 1947-2026 and Alan Grant’s hat, glasses, and bandana.

Two of my favourite swag received from different people at DragonCon. I was given the raccoon while I was dressed in my raccoon onesie. It came with a “blessing from Jimothy”. The dumpster fire was in a little bag of DCC-related items (haven’t read books, no idea if dumpster fire is part of it).

So if you’ve been following for a while, you know that my apartment roof leaked pretty badly during a crazy storm back in October. It was like pulling teeth just to get a tarp on my roof. And yesterday I noticed that the tarp has a giant rip in it. Because it’s been there 9 god damn months.

I work for an insurance company (evil, I know) and my work is directly tied to ACA plans. Loss of consumer base = more possible layoffs and we’ve already had two this year.
