I am sure you believe that I got a SINGLE STEP into the ward to fetch him before he started winding me up, all with the nurses going "oh poor [Raz]" 🤣

The wuff has been safely retrieved and returned home after surgery 🥰 Finally, he can rest and recover from this that's dragged on for so long.

Fucking hell, this is stressful. And hospital switchboard operators are not "tactful" shall we say...

Heck I am not too well. Antibiotic afternath gave me an upset stomach (I guess three lots sequentially will do that to you!). Was kinda expecting this and was ready for it, though it still makes me feel vile. Need some food that's gentle on my stomach. At least it will pass and isn't a worry 😊

She has fewer rugs! Granted, she doesn't need three coolers...

I'm dreadful at throwing them away, I usually will chop the buckles off for spares but they're all at the "eh ok not perfect but not dead" stage. Bar the one I pulled out to bin.

Counted. Binky has 16 rugs while Folly has 7 😅 I think I have a problem.

My slow descent into madness... Three boxes (2 of that black box, plus the larger size) of rugs, one to repair and maybe six more slung over the stable wall.

Been out since 6:30, now gone noon. I'm knackered. Trip to drop Raz off, then back to look after three horses and then on to my yard for my ponies. Sorted all their rugs out from the huge mess then had their dentist sort their teeth. I need food.

Get yourself an equine dentist who you can talk about harems in LitRPG books with. What the fuck even is my life... 🤣

Not a good day v.v But all will be sorted soon and I'll come get you when you're ready 🤞

I guess I can't imagine a situation where I'd need to whip out the diamonds 😁🤣 It's interesting to hear that most would resize or have them made into something else, it's a perspective I didn't realise was so common 😊

I've got a couple I think I'll take for valuation, but it's hard to judge what is important and what's not when my family had a moderate hoarding issue. Not been worn in 17 years (ouch I'm getting old).

Amethyst Mare - COMMISSIONS OPEN 🏳️‍🌈➡️ Furcation @amethystmare.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

A weird question. What have people, probably mostly AFAB, done with inherited jewellery? I inherited all my grandmother's gold rings but my hands are slightly too large for them comfortably. I feel so conflicted over considering selling them though, even if they are no use to me.

Amethyst Mare - COMMISSIONS OPEN 🏳️‍🌈➡️ Furcation @amethystmare.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

And the rare book I dithered over selling that's USUALLY in high demand isn't being approved for even listing/sharing in the special UK group for that style of classical horse riding, when others are getting their posts pushed through. Could really use that money to tuck away.

The only thing I've got rid of quick in this round is the blue flat bed trolley I used at the start for cons 🤣 some lady really wanted that and collected/paid ten minutes after messaging me.

Amethyst Mare - COMMISSIONS OPEN 🏳️‍🌈➡️ Furcation @amethystmare.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Heck, I'm trying to sell off things I don't need (like a microcurrent device for equines, horse rugs, dumbbells...) and people are in super "mess you around" mode right now. Not turning up to collect, sending stupid low offers, refusing to send payment and ghosting (for things to be posted...).

You should be asking why Rockstar gets to do this and doesn't run into any issues with payment processors, while the rest of anyone drawing or writing "explicit content" on any platform have so much trouble getting paid

Read a bit of Undercurrent this morning. It's a moderately hard read with depictions of domestic violence so far, but I wonder what the writer's story is. So, we will see where this goes.

I also found more sloes behind the chicken coop! So maybe I'll see how many jars I have left, if I can do maybe another 500ml... I MAY have space.

this is what the entire AI scam is and why the language around it is so desperate. this is capital's bid for total control. they want you to fork over money for your own mind and your own expertise and your own skills, along with those of people who make the things you want. they want every dime.

they go after small independent creators because they don't want there to be small independent creators. they want you to pay stable diffusion to make something that vaguely approximates what you want and to fucking like it. visual novels? buy a PS5 you fucking pustule full of cash.

sorry to say it out loud but "you can buy grand theft auto the coke simulator with a credit card but don't use it to commission furry art" isn't hypocrisy, it's the point. the point is to herd you into consumption of products they like. they want you to directly enrich their own.

Finished this ebook last night and lord...something about the situations they delved into and remembrance meals had me crying multiple times. It really got to me, in a good way, and it was good to get into a different writing style too. The rhythm and writing of these stories is very different.

Also clearing the field of horse poo in the dark probably is not going to go well... 🤣 Guess I'm reading for a little until it'll be light enough to see at the yard.

One of the lingering issues after my kidney infection is a completely screwed sleep schedule, waking up through the night. Thought I'd get going and get myself up shortly to get a head start on yard chores, but I have to hang about for bunny meds and to get Raz to work earlier than usual. 😅

I'm not digging into this further, I have one hell of a week ahead. But, plainly, there's my view on it. Whatever is going on, as I'm not to speculate, this was handled badly. Kindly stepping away now and leaving it there.

I'm also baffled why I just received a form rejection (for everything, including the further sfw writing speedrun, as I always want to give what I can for a cause) after a team member had been encouraging me personally to get involved. And only after I asked, briefly, around to friends.

110

Amethyst Mare - COMMISSIONS OPEN 🏳️‍🌈➡️ Furcation @amethystmare.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

To be clear, I was not "calling out" anything: I have dealer friends here and I was asking them/around what was the case for them. I'm very surprised it has been taken in that way.

No skin off my back, my schedule got totally disrupted with Raz' surgery being cancelled and put back 🤣 I'll be writing and busy. Just wondering what happened there, if anything.

Did anyone get a reply back or anything about this? Not heard any chatter about the den/creative side or had any retuned contact after submitting a form so just wondering.

I feel we've heard plenty about how supporting Harry Potter directly harms trans people. What more do you need to hear? Really shocked to see this on my feed.

I do just generally hate IMs. I hate the immediacy and especially when people hassle you to reply - 99% of the time when you don't even know them. Once I had to be constantly available to someone at all hours and that loathing certainly stuck with me.

Amethyst Mare - COMMISSIONS OPEN 🏳️‍🌈➡️ Furcation @amethystmare.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Replying to an email with an IM message is the equivalent of replying to an email with a phone call in an office job. Nope.

FA being told by advertisers that the most mundane of art is just too risqué to work with should be a good indicator why trying making your fandom squeaky clean to appease people, who will never be happy, is a shitty idea

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

Though I've just looked at the location most of the African attendees are in - and it's apparently one of the most LGBT-friendly cities in the world. So that tracks, even when we have people from across Europe in this training group too :)

Hm, just joined my course for the morning/day and looks like one of those training with me is a lesbian. Nice to see this group is open and accepting as I didn't know how to "ask" about this earlier. (Didn't want to commit to something if people were twats.)
