Happy birthday, Cartoon Network. You're the network for watching cartoons. I think. I guess. I dunno. Haven't watched in nearly two years. Plus, something better's on TV over-the-air. Surprised you lasted the last year. Guts & luck. I hope you survive the next year because... well, you know.

I have the same position on AI that I have on literally every other technology: It has no moral dimension of its own outside who controls it, right now it's overwhelmingly controlled by people who're evil to the degree they don't deserve to exist. That needs to be corrected. Until it is? 🤷‍♂️

My final deadline for [as] to pay tribute is when IGPX s2 finishes its current re-airing. Doesn’t have to be any thing elaborate, a simple memorial graphic for Peter Cullen is all I ask.

Yeah..... This is one hell of a bad look. Something I really hope someone would call them out for at the next possible con.

Also guessing Get Jiro marathon on December 19th. And...whatever marathons they'll limp in with on X-mas and new years? Maybe?

If I had a nickel for every time Toonami announced a anime that featured delinquents fighting, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

Was there really any reason to waste a month of our time to announce this? I mean....let's be real. Scavenger's Reign was a hard stall tactic.

(In the same mold, if AOC runs at all I would expect to see her in the "wins exactly one major primary and scares the BEJESUS out of the party, extracts a huge concession appointment or clear-runway to something to drop out subsequently" spot. It's early yet)

Newsom in 2028 isn't a "runs and wins" guy, even if he thinks he is. He's at most a "Runs, gets blown out early, endorses the eventual winner with 'shocking' grace and secures a powerful cabinet seat" guy.

So... my take would be "Yes, cast a trans actress as Poison - its a huge opportunity;" BUT I've also known anecdotally some in the community are less enthusiastic on the character because Capcom is "ambiguous" about her, historically, so I don't think I'm in any position to propose anyone take it on

With a little help from Ryan Reynolds’s advertising agency, #CoyoteVsACME has catapulted (not with an ACME-brand catapult) to $100 million worldwide. Next stop: Best Animated Feature Oscar campaign (there’s enough animation to qualify).

A quick sketch of Spider-Man.

A digital drawing of a black-costumed Spider-Man I drew with a mouse using Krita. I kind of dig that pen I used, "Sketching-1 Chrome Thin." Makes it feel more weblike.

Did you? Because the optics are looking pretty bad. You bought into the 30-film lie, ignored TV, have them creating their own news editorial board of yes-men, and a 5-year "guarantee" to provide goods but not keeping jobs intact. You created no oversight and only got a "Trust me, bro." Wow.

"Cable Agreements: For five years, the merged company must conduct negotiations for Paramount basic cable channels independently from negotiations for Warner Bros. basic cable channels, preserving the existing competitive dynamic between the companies." 5 years huh? What happens then? Coward.

If I were in charge of the Republicans and thought they had real balls AND they lost both Houses in November? I'd find impeachment-happy Dems and call their bluff: Throw Trump and Vance BOTH out, give the Dems FULL power *NOW* at the height of all these disasters and say: "Okay, all yours. Fix it."

My only hope with this is it starts with Goku making a wish to Shenron (while Superman is watching) to fight someone strong but not functionally unbeatable. And having the egg of Saitama from the end of his fight with Popeye being resurrected.
