This makes me think of when I had less secure trash bins on my deck, and I confronted a raccoon digging in one. Flipped on the light, looked at it through the window. He froze, looked at me. After a minute he reached back down into the trash like, "So, can I?" Then I banged on the window and he fled

I definitely don't feel like anything is missing. I kind of expected it to be like other games with an adventure mode where there are monsters but they don't seem to notice the player, but they're just totally absent and I think that's spookier.

I have that one too but haven't started it. And I hate when combat (or stealth) is shoved into games that don't need them, especially since it's usually done poorly.

I love that at least a few horror exploration games let you turn enemies off for pussies like me. It's still spooky but I don't have to play a shooter (and yet the gun is still used in the game for puzzles and etc, which is also great).

Oh man, I always overestimate what I can do in a set amount of time. You wouldn't believe how long it took to replace a couple of doorknobs (I was replacing the knock plates too and had to do a little re-drill).

We're having some frosty nights lately so I'm harvesting annual and tender perennial herbs to dry. Parsley is done (and I threw out a sandwich bag of last year's), rosemary and sage are in there now. Look how big some of these sage leaves are!

Actually, part of the reason I got fed up was because they dragged the romance "will they, won't they" out so long that I stopped caring by the time they fulfilled it. There was a point where they really seemed like they were going to get together and then pulled the rug again.

In the fridge! The one where the little toddler drank bleach made me feel sick to my stomach. I had nightmares of, of all things, my Barbies drinking gasoline. The Simpsons where Bart drinks the wine with the antifreeze in it also made me really upset. I was very worried about poisonings.
