Walked with Girl Guides at today's #pridewinnipeg parade and promptly almost heat stroked myself. Somewhere on that tipsy line between heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Thankfully some members of the Bear Clan patrol (and dear friends from work) were able to help me out when I texted them an sos.

Apparently it was a protest for voter reform or something? But either way, PP lost in his own riding, and that makes me happy. The leader of the official opposition won't have a seat in the house. :)

Okay, so the Liberal party has a minority gov't, so, *phew* and PP lost in his own riding. In his riding, there were 91 people on the ballot. 91! the vast majority are "independent". Tinfoil hat thoughts: the PCs got a bunch of people to run as independent as a way to try to water down Lib votes?
