Seeing fewer and fewer people each week has confirmed for me that it has served its purpose and run it's course. Further, I've not been able to join the last 5 weeks and that too has shown me that the joy of it has passed. I've also talked with former regulars who've expressed similar feelings.

She's a relatable candidate who has common citizen appeal. The right and left attacked her for having debt issues from trying to keep a small business going in the pandemic and it backfired disastrously for them. Her "out of nowhere" and "little legislative experience" is what makes her attractive.

Oh yeah for sure the rear door is toast and has to be replaced. It opened up like a sardine tin. But the b-pillar and c-pillar both seem to be in good shape (a little repair needed on the c-pillar door sill) so I'm cautiously optimistic.

I've never been one to think of cars as more than machines. That was until I bought my 340i during COVID. It was the first time in my life I bought exactly the car I wanted. I love Raven and have grown very attached to her. Which makes this SUPER painful. Really hoping they'll fix her.

In a win for @ubiquiti.bsky.social, I found out yesterday that my neighbors cut my fiber line while installing a new fence TWO MONTHS AGO. Thanks to the WAN redundancy/load balancing in my Dream Machine, I didn't even notice. Obviously I need to setup some alerting.

Thanks, me too. IDK which is worse, getting rejected right out without an interview or getting to the end of a long interview process, waiting for weeks for a final answer, only to then be told someone else was better for the role (this is the third time now during this search).

Reaching that point in the job search now where the anxiety is becoming a daily struggle. I wish I could say I'm stunned at how poorly companies treat candidates, but I've watched it for years. Still, being on the receiving end of it has been somewhat eye opening.
