Got my stickers from the Wild Green Future charity battle. God, I fucking love the internet. If you have a Facebook, you should really be in Wild Green Memes for Ecological Fiends so you can participate in our charity battle this year!!

A line of four square stickers, each displaying a different strange collection of flora and fauna. Left to right: a sticker showing raptors of both the dinosaur and bird variety with #GBRC representing team Girl Boss Raptor Chapter, a purple sticker covered with moths and dark colored animals for Goth Gang, a blue sticker with silly doodles of sharks on it for At Least 67 Practicing Shark Experts, and a sticker showing a trash can with animals notorious for eating trash for Trash Mob. These all come from the Wild Green Future charity battle hosted by the Wild Green Memes for Ecological Fiends group on Facebook.

My Pappaw is very lucky to be alive. He lost his Buddy dog, and we hope with how catastrophic the fire and explosions were that it was without suffering. My family has lost the home that raised and hosted us all for over 30 years, the home that Mammaw filled. Devastated doesn't touch the surface.

A decimated property burned so thoroughly you can barely tell a house once stood there.

And today's read is Hekate by Nikita Gill. I like any kind of Greek myth involving the Underworld, and this one is no difference. Opinion time for #booksky though: do Greek mythos and other culture's pantheons count as sci-fi and fantasy, or no?

So like. What am I supposed to do with feral kittens? They're too tiny to TNR and too big and feral for me to let loose to go repopulate my *almost* completely sterilized feral colony. Thanks Fritter for promoting me to babysitter I guess?

Five crusty kittens in a playpen, looking to be between 3 and 5 weeks old. Two are dilute tabbies, one is a normal tabby, one is a dilute orange, and one is a dilute max white calico.

The cover of Hemlock & Silver by T. Kingfisher, New York Times Bestselling Author of A Sorceress Comes to Call. The cover is black and has a three-line green and gold border that ends in a bundle of hemlock in each corner of the cover. The center features a ruby red apple with a snake coiled around it. The snake is made up entirely of easily recognized poisonous plants including belladonna, nightshade, and more hemlock. The color palette is predominantly green, with pops of white, purple, and pink within the foliage.

I am so overjoyed to have read the ARC for Warriors: The New Prophecy Part 1 graphic novel, written by Erin Hunter, adapted by Gibson Twist, and illustrated by Sammy Savos. I really think this has been my favorite Warriors release since Omen of the Stars! The characters are portrayed perfectly.

A single page excerpt from Warriors: The New Prophecy Part 1 graphic novel. The left page is split between 8 mini panels showing a brown tabby cat with amber eyes (Brambleclaw) drinking from a stream at sunset before a flood washes him down the stream and over a cliff. The right page of the novel shows the cat flung backwards into water that stretches to the horizon, with the sunsetting on the expanse. The color palette is predominately dusky purples, blues, oranges, and greens.
