Are you Game of the Year because you're Control: Resonant? Or are you Control: Resonant because you're Game of the Year?

A meme using the "or are you the strongest because you're Satoru Gojo?" JJK meme format, but instead stating: "Are you Game of the Year because you're Control: Resonant? Or are you Control: Resonant because you're Game of the Year?".

And another thing. Read Stone Fox to my intervention groups, fondly remembering it as a bitter sweet dog story with a cool conflict. Completely forgot how insanely racist it was.

Also, what was with all these classics with young Indigenous girls as the main character written by white men and women? I have come to realize most Native American representation in children's classics are this way.

Today, I finished reading Thunder Rolling in the Mountains by Scott O'Dell and Elizabeth Hall. It's part of the 5th grade Wit & Wisdom curriculum. W&W continues to never fail its reputation by picking yet another average book for 5th grade Unit 1.

Destiny for sure! When the sunsetting post was made I tried to follow every single team member I could find on bsky.

Got my stickers from the Wild Green Future charity battle. God, I fucking love the internet. If you have a Facebook, you should really be in Wild Green Memes for Ecological Fiends so you can participate in our charity battle this year!!

A line of four square stickers, each displaying a different strange collection of flora and fauna. Left to right: a sticker showing raptors of both the dinosaur and bird variety with #GBRC representing team Girl Boss Raptor Chapter, a purple sticker covered with moths and dark colored animals for Goth Gang, a blue sticker with silly doodles of sharks on it for At Least 67 Practicing Shark Experts, and a sticker showing a trash can with animals notorious for eating trash for Trash Mob. These all come from the Wild Green Future charity battle hosted by the Wild Green Memes for Ecological Fiends group on Facebook.

I am not first and will be far from the last to say this: I have purchased so many books because I saw them recommended or publicized here on bsky. I cannot urge you all enough to KEEP TALKING ABOUT BOOKS. I know it's easier to talk up someone else's book, but this also means you, the shy author.

They don't seem to realize that them doing this is the same mindset of "well did you tell him no? :/". As if we hadn't thought of that, tried that, screamed that, fought with that in our mouth the whole time. Of course we did that.

SUPER excited for this, after a year of chasing the angle, 30 minutes of waddling around up and down a parking garage, and over 6 hours of editing: A murder of crows flies towards the camera, in front of the full Moon, set to Blind Guardian's "Nightfall" and the sound of the crows themselves. 🪶 🐦‍⬛

Not a game store, but I feel like it would translate well to one: check out Fable Hollow Coffee & Bookshoppe in Knoxville, TN. They *do* host craft nights, DnD nights, etc. but they are by trade a bookstore. I would love to see a LGS do something similar.

Bro imagine having a social media account with like 30 posts and all 30 of your posts is you embarrassing yourself by harassing an author for *checks notes* writing about a character you like in a way you didn't like. 😭

Never in my life have I felt as much second hand embarrassment for a group of people as I do than the people being this... over-the-top about this book. What a disappointing experience for you, I'm sorry that this has went this way. I bet the MtG community would love your writing.

Please, seek therapy. Being this parasocially obsessed with a fictional character that you stalk, harass, and attack a real person whose manuscript was approved by the IP owners because you didn't like their take on said character is not healthy.

It's a test that requires a medical device that monitors your pulse, o2, and heart rhythm be attached to your chest and wrist. You will have to reach out to a medical provider!

120

From my understanding, yes. Mine was an at home test, though. Essentially, they give you a device that straps across your chest and a wrist band. This tracks your breathing and any obstruction events via your pulse and heart rate. In a one night test, I stopped breathing on average 60+ times/hour.

And on that note, good night bsky! Wear your Darth Vader masks, take your meds, and talk to a doctor if something is impacting your daily life. CPAP hose cover by ClaresSewCrafty on Etsy! www.etsy.com/shop/ClaresS...

Between the sleep apnea damage and other health issues, I fear that I have really hurt my noggin. My memory is that of an elderly patient. I am 31. 😞 Early diagnosis is so important.

130

I would literally fall asleep mid conversation with my partner and would wake up gasping and having asthma attacks from lack of oxygen. So scary. 🫠 I am so sorry for the loss of your father. A silly Darth vader mask is 100% worth your health.

120

Do NOT play with your sleep. I narrowly avoided killing myself or others by falling asleep behind the wheel numerous times. Sleep apnea (the other sleep disorder you should worry about, which I have) also LITERALLY causes brain and heart damage. Don't lose your intelligence over sleep.

My hope is as they move forward, they make pathways for old team members to come back into the fold. None of this was on the dev team and its members, but you all are who suffered as a result of leadership decisions. <3 Good luck and thank you.
