I totally get your point. But at the end of the day I do believe MLS will change, just not as fast as it should or as fast as people would like to see. 🤷‍♂️ Regardless I’m along for the ride.

I agree but I can’t absolve the FO from their mistakes: -there’s no salary cap on HC and we’ve yet to leverage that to our advantage -sticking to the 4 U22 model year after year instead of switching to the 3DPs is mental -JT is responsible for LAFC become incredibly one dimensional.

Seeing other fanbases not understanding why MDS was fired even though #LAFC is above the playoff line is very concerning

020

Alejandro @alwaysalejandro.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

💯 I will be genuinely surprised if LAFC hire a coach with some pedigree. For all the money they have and have spent, the FO and Ownership aren’t willing to pay big bucks for a 3rd DP or for a higher caliber head coach.

MDS never should have been hired. A lost season in a league that wasted the post-World Cup momentum and failed to capitalize on the excitement when Lionel Messi signed in Miami. I will always love LAFC. But it’s hard buy tix when the league doesn’t do a good enough job of pretending to care.

LAFC under Marc Dos Santos had no vision. No cohesion. No identity. I hope these vital elements are considered by our next coach/manager.

Fans know that with the players and resources LAFC has, we should absolutely be better. Fans are part of what pushes the franchise to be better. Why should anyone settle for 6th? That's not spoiled; that's love for what we know the team can be

021

Alejandro @alwaysalejandro.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

One thing to point out is that now that MDS is gone the pressure is now firmly on JT. His roster decisions and his roster construction did play a part in MDS’ poor results. #LAFC is clearly JT’s team so the next coaching hire and the future of our game model will fall on his shoulders.

Alejandro @alwaysalejandro.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Are we #LAFC fans spoiled? Yes But don’t we also have a right to demand better when we spend our time, money, and energy every week on this team?

030

Alejandro @alwaysalejandro.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I think the timing shows that the hopelessness that the fanbase was feeling was worse than we thought. For the FO to pull the trigger means the FO also saw how dire the sutuation was. They have more data, metrics, and info than the fans and came to the same conclusion: MDS was out of his depth.

010

Alejandro @alwaysalejandro.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

JT must be really feeling the heat if he was willing to sign off on the MDS sacking. What an utter failure from the FO. Turns out coaches do matter smh #LAFC

JT has a lot to answer for but at least this is a first step in the right direction. I don’t have much hope for the rest of this season but at least MDS is gone. #LAFC

LAFC only 9pts clear of even making the playoffs. This form continues, could see them in a battle late just to see postseason. Unreal how bad they’ve been most of the year, but especially this summer.

Hugo Lloris is having an absolutely incredible year. The master. LAFC would be in much worse shape without him

141

Alejandro @alwaysalejandro.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Lloris did all he could. 😔 This team is just not good. The red didn’t help and MDS did what he could but we are in a position where we cannot afford to keep dropping points. If this were a one off it’d be fine but this is part of a series of failures from this team. Oh well, looking to 2027. #LAFC
