A Sunday news dump for the ages. With just a few matches left and still in a position for a postseason run, LAFC have parted ways with Marc Dos Santos. It never really felt like a good match, so the decision isn’t a surprise. He becomes the first LAFC HC not to see a full season. ⬇️ 📰

Of course this now means Angel City in discourse but people forget 1. Angel City FC was a placeholder until fans made it clear it’s the name they wanted. 2. It works because LA is also widely known as the City of Angels. Atlanta City is lifeless in one of the most lively areas in the country.

I don’t think anyone felt MDS would ever really work at LAFC. Kinda strange to do it with under 10 matches left, but better late than never I suppose. For their sake, hopefully a new manager bump results in a postseason run for the ages because as it stands, they look like a round 1 exit.
