I do totally understand these types of articles and it’s well written but it kind of misses the point. It’s not about who has been the hardest done by, that’s just a reverse of the situation. This is about the impact on everyone, clubs, players, fans accross the board. Not just the football.

It’s hard to be critical given how good we’ve been but that all felt very inevitable If Odegaard is going to play where Bruno is and Havertz where Odegaard should be you just as well take Bruno off and put Gyokeres on We’ve been at a trap, looked at the cheese, seen the trap and gone for it anyway

We are going to need Gyokeres at some point so we have to find a way to get him back. The debate about what he is and isn’t has been going on for a year now and everyone can have their views on that, but whatever is up with him beyond that, be it fitness or mood needs sorting.
