This one is for GMs, but players can use this - keep a notepad on you in case you have ideas. Also if you're looking for plots and ideas, go outside of your window and genre. If you play a fantasy TTRPG, look at true crime. If you play horror, read some romance and cozy fantasy.

Carpenter's Halloween still holds up and is a blueprint for slasher stories. I'm not critiquing it or comparing it to the others, save for one aspect. Rob Zombie's Halloween is fine for what it is, but I think Carpenter's Michael Myers is scarier, even down to the child-version of Michael.

I didn't know who Simon or the Belmonts in Castlevania. My intro to Simon was Captain N and I always thought he was a meathead. Fast forward and Castlevania is one of my favorite franchises. I remember living in Ritzville and binging a lore series about the Belmonts.

Yugioh Tag Force GX has already been announced, but I'd love an extra scene where you can play as Yugi and Jaden in their Season 4 duel and it has Dan and Matthew voicing their characters. Or Yugi is a guest character, kind of like Art of Fighting's Ryo in Fatal Fury Special.

Interesting. I didn't really watch a lot of TV after high school. I've only seen four shows on this list all the way through: Game of Thrones, Parks and Rec, Key and Peele, and Chapelle Show. About 5 more I've only seen a few episodes, or a handful.
