Happy Pride month, all! Way back in 2018 I made these galaxy pride flags. They were shared many thousands of times, featured on Vice, and even made their way onto book covers and into video games. Here are the original ones I created (in no particular order!) so Bluesky can have them too. 💙

Non-binary flag made from photos of galaxies

Hiya, there is not sadly! The team are taking a break at the moment to focus on other projects, with the plan to revisit Gwyllion in roughly a year from now.

Israel has killed approximately 200 journalists in Gaza in just 22 months, which is more than the combined number of journalists killed during WWII and the entirety of the Vietnam War.

One year ago today, this image of Anas Al-Sharif amidst the aftermath of a particularly horrific Israeli attack on a school in Gaza went viral. Israel recognized the anniversary by killing him, along with four other journalists: Mohammed Qreiqea Ibrahim Daher Moumin Alaywa Mohammed Noufal

My words stopped, and I lost my strength and ability to express or speak when I reached the place of the massacre. Body parts and blood were all around us, corpses piled on top of each other, dismembered. Tell me, with what words or phrases can any journalist describe this horrific scene?
When I told you on air that it was "an indescribable scene," I truly faltered before this sight. How do we convey our annihilation to you?
I am exhausted and pained by the scale of the body parts and blood I saw today.

Today I booked in my first round of the HPV vaccine (via a private pharmacy - £185) and also completed the free NHS-provided postal STI testing kit. Bit grim, those lancets, and I couldn't quite fill up the tube with blood (drink water!! I guess) but it's DONE. 💪

Think a lot about a guy I know who went to Cardiff museum on acid, it got a bit much but he managed to find a quiet dark room, then suddenly the lights went up, a giant turtle hanging from the ceiling filled the room, and a booming voice started a monologue with "YOU KILLED ME"

I don't think the MLM flag design was around back when these were made, or if it was it didn't make it to my circle - it wasn't intentionally omitted. It makes me genuinely happy to see that as new flags get added or old ones amended that people have stepped up and created their own galaxy flags. 💙

An inspiring image of the galaxy-themed gay pride flag, representing the LGBTQ+ community and unity. Show your pride with this beautiful design!

Funnily enough I just went on a search for this one and found two on tumblr: 64.media.tumblr.com/4e400d878111... and: www.tumblr.com/neopronouns/... One on insta but it may be private as it says page not available for me: www.instagram.com/p/C4ixqfvOh-... (& one on pinterest but too low res!)

I gave permission for anyone to use them for whatever purpose with accreditation :) I also had a kofi account linked to the original post and had a few lattes from that! Some folks did repost without credit or take ‘inspiration’ without acknowledgement but this is the internet, I bear no ill will

Funnily enough, it got redesigned again while I was making the galaxy flags - the first version I made had the pi symbol in the middle still! The new version looks much more visually appealing, though I'll always have a space in my heart for the black, red and blue
