My grandfather had a radio which used a battery which was taken to a shop to recharge. The toilet at the end of the garden was emptied by a man with a ladle 2 buckets and tipped into a horse drawn cart. 100

It came from the farm down the road, delivered by the farmer who milked his cows, in a milk churn on a horse and cart. People used to take a jug out to him for him to put it in I am not aware of anyone being ill from using it. 200
