Well, thanks for the comics, you had a good run. Hopefully the afterlife treats you better.

Kasutama-chan is the mascot for the town of Kasuya, in Fukuoka. He’s an egg, to represent Kasuya’s high birth rate.

Want to see my comic script? Was having trouble getting from point A to Point B at the end of the the page, so worked out what I needed to get there, then drew that. Added an extra panel after “noise”. #comics #comicscript #makecomicsnotwar

I enjoyed it. I laughed throughout it. Of course it doesn’t supersede the original, but I thought it was a worthy sequel.

Can I recommend Dinosaur Sanctuary by @kurinosukeboy.bsky.social as well? I haven’t read the one you mentioned, but it sounds like this is similar and would probably be enjoyable to kiddo as well.

Every movie, song, and book that you love was made without the technology that people who don’t make art are now insisting is necessary for making art.

This is doing the rounds, and I’m aware some people may not like the choices Andrew Scott has made. But my goodness. I’ve heard this speech hundreds of times and this may be the first time it’s ever truly hit me. I *felt* his horror at “ay, there's the rub”. Bravo.

I think it might be a remake, actually. @podcastonfire.bsky.social , can you shed light on this, was Zu Warriors by Tsui Hark a remake, and not a sequel to Zu Warriors?

Looking it up, it seems like there’s a few films with that title, so you might be right.

Today is the first day of me renting a space in Arthea, a local business for selling your art/exhibition space/art classes. Hopefully I cover the rent. Due to my error, the box I had a friend made was too big, so my setup is pretty basic atm. Need to try work out how to get my comics in there still.

I really enjoyed it. I felt like it had given me a new wrinkle in the genre I hadn’t seen before, and I remember being quite upset about some of my favourites dying, which I think shows it was doing its job as a film.
