Depends whether you ‘plan’ the transfer in a few (4-5?) weeks or not. I just can’t see him being dropped, he’s too good. So ‘worst case’ scenario Mitoma comes back and MDC drops to LB. He won’t get DCs, but he’s still an attacking threat. Plus CSs. Vusco safer long-term pick, but less upside.

I wonder - genuinely - at the culture Ratcliffe brings. He’s such an odious individual. He doesn’t seem to have any particular love for the club, or sport. He’s cut hundreds of jobs, that permeates through the club. Rot starts at the top.

10 hours is so arbitrary! There are plenty of 8 episode shows out there, and some 6 episode ones too. Why not - radical idea - script a show for as many hours needed to tell a story well? Different seasons could even have different amounts of episodes - the world won’t end!

If Palmer wasn’t coming off a flag, honestly, I’d say anyone who owns him this week and doesn’t cap him is mental. Objectively, he’s the clear captain pick this week, maybe only after Bruno. However, I’ll grant the injury scare and what’s behind it (playing through pain) is reason to consider.

Before the season started, my outline plan was BB early (GW1), WC6. Reduce bench value and maximise what’s on the pitch. I always get some pre-season picks ‘wrong’ and it always bugs me. But with this plan I could ‘relax’ a little knowing I didn’t have to hold those picks for too long. #FPL
