This video camera study showed that less than 5% of people on bikes broke traffic laws while riding bikes, yet 66% of people did so while driving. Police in Birmingham held a roads policing operation, supported by volunteer Special Constables. In one evening on one road, they pulled over 166 vehicles and took action in a staggering 1 in 3 stops. Imagine if Roads Policing was properly funded!

Our #RPUspecials joined @BrumPolice specials on Saturday evening for a Traffic Op, seizing 7 vehicles.
166 vehicles stopped, with 24 drivers reported for offences ranging from No Licence to No Seatbelt.
Additionally, 32 drivers received education for varying offences.

Scrapping cycle to work is a sign that Reeves and co are just listening to the Whiners from the Telegraph rattling on about dentists etc on 10k carbon bikes. Whilst she chucks £3k+ subsidies to someone for a £40k electric car. It's insane.

Of course, Matt Briggs is at it again. How many pedestrians have been killed in the UK by cyclists since his wife died in Feb 2016? 19. How many were killed by cars in the same period? Over 3,500 Hell, in 2016 alone, 448 pedestrians were killed by drivers. Did we get a similar outcry?
