Someone asked if my WIP (the green one) was intended to be a shield and I realized that all of my Iron Pentacle portals are coming out as vaguely shield shaped even though it was only intentional for Pride. Purple and peach is Sex, red is Pride, green is Self.

The latest portal. It's not quite done. Hubs and I agree it needs a lil more inside the colorful panels that are outlined in both metallics and black. I think I need to talk to my muse about it.

I brought my latest WIP home because it's easy to tote acrylic markers around and I didn't want to stop. This is crappy lighting and the metallics are going to need a touch-up later, but I'm happy so far. (I made it in two pieces bc it has to be certain dimensions for my altar.)

I did some example pieces for teaching Art Medicine techniques. (I'll draw more on camera to show how they're constructed but I want more examples to give ideas of what you can do.) Say hello to Bi Butterfly and The Dragon of Many Eyes. That eye motif is going to end up in one of my portals someday

The right half has the same pink, purple, and two shades of blue, but there is a white gap between them and the black lines. In an Art Medicine painting, that gap would be filled with the prior layer of paint, which would be across the entire background. But because this was started on a white page, it's just negative space.

It's done! I've submitted my test for Level 3 and I'm just waiting for Level 4 to unlock. Level 4 is teaching, so I'm going to have to get cracking on those videos...

Pride portal is done, I think? Second in a series of portal paintings for the points of the Iron Pentacle from Anderson Feri Witchcraft. The third, Self, may or may not get delayed until some of my other projects are done.

I couldn't finish the next layer before I had to leave for home. I'm kind of salty about the fact that I had to put this down in favor of Dayjob, especially when healing from suffering inflicted by Dayjob is part of the purpose here. But Dayjob won't last forever and I'll paint after I leave there.

The Pride portal's flags are almost half done. Waiting for the grey section to dry so I can add the stripes of the disability pride flag. I think it's time for a break anyway; I've been doing a lot of intense work this weekend and don't want to overdo it.

WIP, not the portal for class. I think the roses need to stand out more and I'm deliberating on how to do that. I suspect that knocking the background back with a mix of white and clear gesso will just lower the contrast overall and will hurt, not help. Maybe I'll outline the roses?

This one's for a pop culture deity. I know there's a Fortune/Fortuna in Roman religion but that's not who I venerate.

I'm starting a collection of Artist Trading Cards with Light Codes and sigils for the various gods and spirits I work with. The single card is for Freyja. And I can just grab the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc cards I made last year and pop them into the collection too, because the runes have their own spirits
