Light submissions this time around since I haven't had all the time in the world as of late to work on stuff that I'd feel fresh on for AGDQ

Been on and off with this cheevo set, but I pulled myself into a hellish RNG grind this weekend and finally came out the other end lol

Went and did the whole Wii launch event on RetroAchievements these past few months and got the Grandmaster badge. Thought I might just do a quick review for each game I mastered in this thread:

watching SA2 Hero story runs tournament at SAESR and the amount of times runners just get absolutely fucked by Knuckles Emerald piece RNG keeps making me remember this old tweet

tweet by brandino59 @ bsky
SA2 speedruns are so funny because you’ll watch a runner play the most insane Sonic and Tails stages ever, and then Knuckles starts and they get a hint called “why did my wife leave” and immediately the runner’s face falls and all the light drains from their eyes and run is over

It brings me great joy that the "most recommended" walkthrough for Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga on GameFAQs is like this

Text that reads "Of course, the one reason above all that I work on this FAQ, is because I took the challenge of a friend of mine-to see if I can do something more productive
in six months than George Bush could.

Enough said, though, as I suppose you don't want to be bored by my rambling on,
so let's get to the walkthrough, shall we now? Oh, and don't mind the jokes. I
just throw them in there to lighten the reading of this FAQ. And like I said, PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT ask me for Mario porn."
