Ripped off by Government legislation again. Did you know that if you unknowingly pay a double TV licence in the UK, they don't have to give you any money back. We're owed about £1,000 & they'll only refund £300 as a "goodwill gesture". That's stealing!!!

My very best bargain ever though was from B&M. I needed a new large pedal bin. Picked one up & took it to the check out. £12.99. Except it was old stock & they cldn't find it on the system. Ended up paying a whole .. Wait for it ... Drum roll ... 10p .. 2 much hassle to put it back thru the system.

What a stressful few mins from my daughter! The granddaughter has come out in Chicken pox. Which threatens to derail Christmas completely, not only as my dad (90), & his sister (85) are both are coming to lunch 🤦‍♀️. Can't willingly pass on a contagious virus 🤷🤷🤷

That was tough. Nursing an active chest & sinus infection (saw an assoc. Physician this morning), I had to drive for nearly 4 hours to Gloucester & back on no sleep, so my son could have his post op eye check up. Home safe but bloody hell, that took it out of me!

My take on making the government a bit more popular. Stop the subsidies in the HoC restaurant. Look at abolishing some of the MPs allowances, particularly if they already live in London. Cleaning up house is a must if you're going to be taxing working people more.
