While I wasn't crazy about the Amazing Spider-Man movies, I wish we could have seen how they handled Mary Jane.

Amazing Spider-Man #1000 was a very entertaining celebration of Spider-Man. There were a good mix of stories, some stronger than others, that explore all angles of the favorite wall-crawler. I really liked the Requiem for a Goblin story and the Gwen one was good too. The main ASM story with Cormac

I would love more mini series like Avengers Twilight, I feel like those are way more creative and allows different type of stories to be told that we just can’t get with mainline ongoings.

The Gwen obsession by editorial is just weird now, even in today’s issue…

I love seeing Pat Gleason’s Spider-Man art but man, why don’t they ever put him on better story arcs 🤣

Has there ever been a more despised comic character than Paul? 🤣

Working on a post and I am having a hard time deciding on my favorite Batman villain. It’s between Mr Freeze, Bane, and Scarecrow. I’m leaning Freeze though

Nick Spencer wasn’t appreciated enough. Tried to undo the damage that’s plagued the Spider-Man books since OMD but editorial wouldn’t let him. (This is from Slott btw).

I really liked the new spider-man movie, but the next one needs to use an actual spider-man villain. I know they teased one (won’t say who) and I think they need to do that instead of trying to set up future mcu movies.

My new Spidey Marvel Legends figure came in. This one is so good, the articulation is great. A good Spidey to begin my Spidey collection.

They need to move on from the Skywalker Saga. Really, it should have ended after return of the Jedi.

Jon Watts and Simon Kinberg doing the next Star Wars? 🤡

Ander @aliltron.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I’m planning on trying all of the Midnight books. Spider-Man for sure will be on my list and I’ll prob stick with X-men for a bit because it’s Hickman. Not sure about fantastic four though, never was a big FF fan so I’ll prob try the first issue but not sure I’ll keep up.

I’m starting a collection of getting the DC compact books and Marvel premier collections. I like these.

I’m enjoying the Kelly ASM run for the most part. It’s not perfect by any means and some arcs have been meh but it’s far better than the Wells run, which may be the worst ASM run I’ve ever read.

Wow December is filled with excellent comics from both DC and Marvel for me.

Spider-Man comics won’t improve until the BND group is completely gone.

Ander @aliltron.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Do X-Men fans even like the current X-Men books? I don’t hear anything about them anymore. Unlike the Krakoa era where it was all anyone seemed to talk about. I’m not trying to sound snarky, I’m genuinely curious.

Ander @aliltron.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

This is great news, I hope it ends up being a success for them because it’s genuinely an incredible game.

The world needs more Kyle Chandler Hal Jordan.

I’m still in shock…such a profound loss. His art helped shape the Krakoan era of X-Men comics. My heart goes out to his loved ones.

Somehow, impossibly, the incredible Joshua Cassara has died. Truly one of our modern greats, but also an incredibly kind and gracious soul. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

This is Martha Cassara, Josh’s wife. I’m saddened to share the impossible news that Josh died on September 22nd of heart complications. You might know him for his celebrated work in comics, but he was also a good man, a wonderful father and husband, my best friend, and the love of my life. I’ll share more in the future, but for now that’s about all I can manage. If you knew Josh, you know that he approached the world with humor, sweetness, and kindness. He would not have wanted your condolences. He would have wanted your laughter and toasts. I would love it if you shared something below. Not your sadness, please, but any sort of happiness he brought you through his art, his friendship, or even a brief encounter.

May he feel all the love he gave us all. He was one of a kind ❤️

Even if I have problems with House of the Dragon, I enjoy it. It’s fun to have a show like that to watch. Nothing with come close to Game of Thrones but it’s an admirable spin off.

Is Wolverine perfect? No, there are definitely valid criticisms. Is the hate forced? Absolutely. It’s a fun 7.5-8/10 game. Reviews are making it seem like it’s the worst game ever made.

I need to get the Hippodrome DLC for Anno 117, it looks so good. I’m a huge fan of strategy games and I really enjoy this game.

When it comes to modern triple A action adventure superhero games, I really don’t think anything will top Batman Arkham City for me. That game changed the game. I mean technically Arkham Asylum did but City took every strength of Asylum and amplified it 10000%

I love reading a good Superman book too. While he’s not my favorite DC hero (still top 5 though) there’s just something special about reading a damn good Superman comic.

What’s a comic (or comics) you love reading that aren’t necessarily your favorite character? Like for me, I love a fun Ghost Rider series.

I just wish I enjoyed the Aquaman book more. He’s my all time favorite hero so it kinda sucks that I feel so meh on it. It’s not bad, but it could be a lot more. Lots of interesting ideas but it just doesn’t click.
