its also just a bad habit to get playing vsrgs (or rhythm games in general), rule of thumb you're meant to read patterns and not rely on stupid fast reaction time. there are some its best practice to reqd one beat ahead of the current notes being tapped.

once you get what it feels right to play it's just adapting scroll speed until you match the map to how you read things but i think you really shouldn't be reacting to individual notes cause that would make it really taxing on fast and dense maps

usually i like to play with a scroll speed where i can chunk patterns well enough in a way thats kinda indifferent of how dense a map is. if a map has less things going on I'll lower scroll speed and if it has more things ill increase it so it sorta "feels the same"

The worse part of that snipped is that it has an @Unique annotation, which is exclusive to mixin, and follows the modid$mixinName convention, meaning that crap is *already* inside a mixin, and just using mcdev's autocomplete would get you the right way to do it.
