The ruling found that these bans weren't discriminating on the basis of sex, despite the fact that most procedures involved were developed for cis patients and still legal for them. This ruling will allow 25 states to go through with their bans. roughly 119 000 trans youth live in these states. the ruling was released moments after it was announced that the US national suicide hotline would stop giving the option for callers to connect with experts on lgbtq+ mental health. Stephie says : American LGBTQ+ youth can still call the trevor project hotline 24/7.
