HARD AGREE HAVE SLAMMED THE LIKE ICON AND WOULD SLAM AGAIN

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

My little PNGtuber got a new look while I play Control Resonant on stream! Nothing super special, but I wanted to give her a cute little office outfit. 🎨

Had a lovely walk in the rain, so NOW I can play video games! Day 2 for Control Resonant. And I have proper attire on this time! www.twitch.tv/alienfirst

I want to stream more Control Resonant tonight, but I might be starting closer to 6pm (Seattle time)! Still need to rearrange items from our bathroom/bedroom repairs, and I kinda want a walk outside.

I'm anxious about a lot of things, but dammit, I'm gonna play some Control Resonant! YEAH YEAH YEAH. www.twitch.tv/alienfirst

Sorry Parade of Horribles, I gotta go read some toxic old man yaoi before I see what further horrors await Carl in the dungeon.

Got home, hit with bad brain times, it's now kinda late, sooooo... Control Resonant tomorrow (and probably the rest of the week)! I gotta finish the new outfit for my little PNGtuber anyway, so I'll make the bad brain time PRODUCTIVE.

Tried to upload the first Alan Wake 2 VOD from my husband’s Surface, but it only uploaded, like, half the video????? So I’ll get it up for a Monday morning release once I’m back on my computer!

010

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

My plan was to start streaming Control 2 Sunday afternoon, but that MAY be pushed to Monday! Watching my dad’s fur babies until Sunday now, so if I return early enough and get Control 2 downloaded and installed in good time, then stream. Otherwise Monday FOR SURE.

I’m not joking I have thought this cat was dead or did not exist for extended lengths of time. Turns out, he’s fine, he just doesn’t like humans. He’ll still meow from the other room or down the stairs tho? We cannot visually perceive him, that’s his only rule I guess. (He is chill w/my dad’s dogs.)

030

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

You’ve met Cooper, but not JASPER. Jasper is an elusive little man. While Cooper is a dog in cat clothing, Jasper is the most cat cat and wants nothing to do w/humans (other than his father). The fact that my husband and I have been in the same room as him is a miracle and AMAZING progress.

Alan Wake 2 VODs coming SOON. Only two years since I played it. 😂 But it IS timely, in a way, so….? Hopefully the art for the title card isn’t TOO dark. Art done on my iPad always ends up darker than I intend, which in this instance won’t be the worst thing. 🎨

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

While Reverse 1999 is on my mind, let me suggest a collab… Remedy-verse. Give me Jesse Faden and Alan Wake in Reverse 1999. The Oldest House versus the Foundation? Let me just FOAM AT THE MOUTH. THEMATICALLY IT IS SUCH A GOOD COLLAB IDEA!!!!!

031

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I finally deleted Dislyte a few months ago b/c the art, characters, and story were taking too much of a back seat to their monetization. I hung on for far longer than I should’ve. Nervous AFK Journey will head down that route as it’s also a Lilith game.

020

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

The other two gacha games being AFK Journey and Nikke. AFKJ also has gorgeous art and cute stories, but it’s harder to avoid “meta or go home” in some aspects of the game. Nikke is a gooner game at face value w/surprisingly deep characters and fun/traumatic story (you laugh then cry, then repeat).

120

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Reverse 1999 is one of three gacha games I will actually tell ppl to play. Because most of the content can be enjoyed casually and entirely F2P. And they tend to be generous w/pulls even for F2P. The art and the story is just a delight, and you don’t have to drop a dime for that.

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I am just RABID over Lilya Huntsworn and her looks. Like, DAMN GURL. LOOK AT YOU. YOU ABSOLUTE QUEEN. Do I wish Reverse 1999 just updated normal Lilya and these were costumes and not a whole new unit? Kinda, yeah. But Eagle grew up, so Lilya can too (and gacha games be gacha games).

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.

I’m staring longingly at all the ppl streaming Control 2. I wanna watch SO BAD. But knowing Remedy, I’m gonna get so much more enjoyment if I go in blind, so I’m RESTRAINING MYSELF. Now I’m mostly just crossing my fingers the game runs well enough on my computer. 😬

Cooper is such a good little boy. He got a churu treat after being outside in the sun prowling around ALL DAY, so you know he’s just EXHAUSTED.

I am so bummed that I won't be able to play Control 2 until SUNDAY! And also try and avoid spoilers that whole time too. -_- On the bright side, I get to house/pet sit for my dad again, and where he lives has Bright Falls vibes. We gonna stream the shit out of Control 2 the moment I get back tho!

If someone accuses me and all my dumb little hatch marks being AI, I will find where they live and draw hatch marks in Sharpie all over their house. Or car. Or use chalk on the sidewalk. I don’t put in all that effort for someone to go “erm, AI?”

If I have something fully realized enough to write into a prompt to feed to a machine, it’s fully realized enough for me to write or art it myself.

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

If I ever get accused of using AI, I will lose my fucking shit. I don’t even know HOW to use AI. I saw ChatGPT was an app and went “ew, too much effort to just try it out.” Any writing and art mistakes you see are my own. Hands w/too many fingers? Sorry, that’s just me being a dumb bitch.

Gonna try and snag my mom to play FBC Firebreak this weekend on stream! Steve and I had fun playing it, and I think my mom would also have a delightful time (especially as we get to share the weird Control lore with her).

Also Frogwares, if you're out there listening, I want an art book for Sinking City 1 and 2. I love all the gross little guys y'all made. I wanna look at 'em all.

010

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I wanna do the new game+ just to use and abuse photo mode. Frogwares just did a beautiful job with the game. I wanna screenshot everything. I wish there was more connecting threads to the first game, but that's just me wanting to tie all the red thread together or something.

110

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Finished main game! Sinking City 2 has one bit of DLC, so I'll stream that another day, which made today's stream a little short. But y'all... 'twas a good game. I am NOT a survival horror girly, but everything else about the game is so up my alley that I can deal w/a little survival horror.

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Got vaxxed and then napped. So… well stream tomorrow! Honestly, streaming every other day does work nicely for me.

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Bam. Got the Covid and flu vaccines scheduled. Gonna get poked later today (since I GUESS it’s technically Thursday right now). If I’m feeling fine afterward, I might try and stream more Sinking City 2. I’m nearing the end!!

I do believe I'll stream more Sinking City 2 today, but I gotta couple chores to attend to first!

Got the final VODs for Space Marine 2 done and dusted! Uploading part 4 to release on Friday, with the final part 5 on Monday. But wait, there’s more! Got Alan Wake 2 VODs coming next. First is rendering out now.
