I realized I should turn on my AW2 light while I stream Control 2! It’s only fitting.

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

My little PNGtuber got a new look while I play Control Resonant on stream! Nothing super special, but I wanted to give her a cute little office outfit. 🎨

Sorry Parade of Horribles, I gotta go read some toxic old man yaoi before I see what further horrors await Carl in the dungeon.

You’ve met Cooper, but not JASPER. Jasper is an elusive little man. While Cooper is a dog in cat clothing, Jasper is the most cat cat and wants nothing to do w/humans (other than his father). The fact that my husband and I have been in the same room as him is a miracle and AMAZING progress.

Alan Wake 2 VODs coming SOON. Only two years since I played it. 😂 But it IS timely, in a way, so….? Hopefully the art for the title card isn’t TOO dark. Art done on my iPad always ends up darker than I intend, which in this instance won’t be the worst thing. 🎨

I am just RABID over Lilya Huntsworn and her looks. Like, DAMN GURL. LOOK AT YOU. YOU ABSOLUTE QUEEN. Do I wish Reverse 1999 just updated normal Lilya and these were costumes and not a whole new unit? Kinda, yeah. But Eagle grew up, so Lilya can too (and gacha games be gacha games).

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Cooper is such a good little boy. He got a churu treat after being outside in the sun prowling around ALL DAY, so you know he’s just EXHAUSTED.

Part THREE of me playing Space Marine 2 with my mom is up! One day I’ll upload these Twitch VODs soon enough after streaming that I’ll remember what happened. All I recall is that I get SUPER hype about Chaos Marines in this one. 🎥 youtu.be/thBfzw5nFyo?...

I love these WH40k romance novels.

BTW it’s day 3 of PAX! Here’s my Art Hub table with accompanying husband (mine, not yours, you can have the art, but the husband stays with me). And my other table buddy, but they don’t have a name yet. (If you’re a Destiny fan, come sign up for the raffle giveaway my sister is doing! See last pic.)

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Aw hell yeah. This looks so good as an 11x17 print. I did make a handful of 8x10s too, but I had to crop some off the left side for that size.

Hey hey! If you have the @officialpax.bsky.social app, the Exhibitor Hall map is up! As always, things could change, but here’s where you can find the Art Hub (I took the big map and got a little closer for y’all.) Weave thru the hall to get to all us artists!

And these are my dad’s dogs! Marley (with the white on his face) and Edda (his sister). I have not met more well behaved dogs in my life. Marley wags his tail w/his WHOLE BODY and wants your love all the time, and Edda is so sweet and when SHE wags her tail, you know you did good.

My dad’s cat will yowl to go outside, and then spend all day sleeping in this chair on the patio.

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Aw yeah, number two of the VOD where my mom and I play Space Marine 2 is up! I, uh, don’t remember what happens in this one. I’m sure I do something dumb and perish. 🎥 youtu.be/vKNH1Wtb--0?...

TIME FOR PETSITTING. My dad’s dogs are so sweet and I hate being allergic to them b/c it means I can’t give them all the pets and scritches that they deserve. 😭

Let me tell a short story. Awhile back, the Washington State Department of Transportation used an AI image in one of their posts. They got BLASTED for it. Since then, we’ve had these GLORIOUS HAND MADE MAPS. These are infinitely more entertaining than any AI image. WSDOT has been killing it.

IT IS HERE. The first episode of Space Marine 2 where I play the campaign with my mom is now up! I dunno if it's as fun to watch as it was to play, but WHATEVER. HAVE A GOOD TIME. HOPEFULLY. 🎥 youtu.be/0BZm9lrCWos

New YouTube videos coming as soon as I finish this sucker. And I’ll be getting at least one acrylic standee made of Space Marine AlienMom and Chaos Marine Alienfirst. B/c I think my mom would just die to have it. 🎨

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

Anatomy is a bit off, but I forgive myself b/c this was an unfinished demo for the art class I teach. Trying to finish it up in my spare time. (Alan Wake 2 has the best DLC I’ve ever experienced. Hands down. Also, Rose is a queen.) #remedygames #alanwake2 #control 🎨

The full damage from our upstairs neighbors giving us water damage for the third year in a row. Keep in mind, we COMPLETELY demoed and remodeled our bathrooms in 2024 b/c of them (THE EXACT SAME LEAK THAT HAPPENED THIS TIME TOO). Alt text has a little more info.

Looks like we have a juvenile robin that is sitting above our car in one of the crossbeams of the covered area we park under. He hasn’t moved for six hours now. He also shit all over the back side of our car. He’s too high up to catch, so I set a towel and water on top of our car. Hope he’s okay. :(

Amanda Lien @alienfirst.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

And the cat tax. My dad has two cats, a grey tabby named Jasper who I never see b/c he is elusive and only comes out when he thinks no one is around, and then the orange boy, Cooper, who is a little dog and loves being loved on. Cooper brought us a bird for breakfast. Very considerate.

Babysat my little brothers (my dad’s cats) on Monday and Tuesday. The drive to my dad’s place was gorgeous. We had such a stellar view of Mount Rainier for a good chunk of the drive.

Mom and stepdad return today, so it is time to say farewell to Mischief. She was an excellent host as we stayed at my mom’s place. 10/10 would recommend and will be staying again.

Digging out art I did for Battle Nations back in the day! Thanks to someone finding ME and asking about art, I found out BN got resurrected! I didn’t do a LOT on BN, but here’s four Boss Strike illustrations I got to do. Mostly happy still, but that sergeant (cigar guy) is a bit wonky. 🎨

Watching a mindless YouTube video before heading to bed, and instead of scrolling endlessly on my phone, I scrolled a little bit for references to sketch a few poses. Much better use of scrolling. 🎨

I have not stopped thinking about mister Carl Thonius from the Warhammer 40k Ravenor series. Here he is looking sad and pathetic (a common state for him). I swear it was gonna be a sketch and then the hatching happened… The hatching is always my downfall. 🎨 #WH40k #Warhammer40k #WarhammerCommunity

It's finally done! First VOD up on Youtube! Pt one of Alan Wake Remastered! I only did minor editing (didn't fully rewatch as I know I'd find something embarrassing and then not post it) so hopefully it all works nicely (except for one section Twitch blocked audio on). 🎥 youtu.be/IR85BZW2NEY?...

She's hoping to get back into crafting and cosplay again (life kinda did what life does and she's had to focus on not as fun things lately), so go here: linktr.ee/airbubblesco... (and especially her Insta) to see all the cool shit she's made in the past.

Did I text @airbubbles.bsky.social to buy this for me at PAX East the moment @steveglover.bsky.social texted me about it? Yes I did. (My love to whoever did the bun, that’s some good bun art.)

I STILL believe in Tad Cooper. And you should too. I remember drawing this the day the Galavant soundtrack released, before I’d even finished all the episodes. If you haven’t watched Galavant and you like a good musical, it is an absolute delight. 🎨

I would love to get Steve the Yarrick model from the 90s (far left in picture) at some point. There’s just this weird charm to the old models.

My husband (@steveglover.bsky.social) is an Astra Militarum guy, so as you can understand, he was VERY excited for this announcement. Also this model is just COOL.
