Knowing some of my friends on here… Anyone in the UK know where I can get a zombie furry costume? Like a zombie wolf.

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 21/07/2026

They missed out ”awesome person” from that list. The convention isn’t being run by my mimes is it? Would be a terrible shame if the Patrician were to take an interest in them for this omission

Not a problem. I picked up the other two from last time that you wanted. Just waiting for your next trip over :)

Current stock and there’s more coming in later so I might pop in next weekend for a look… @seananmcguire.bsky.social

Not often I’ll do this but @20thcenturymarc.marcburrows.co.uk is a good friend and a rather good comedian. So *ahem* If you’re of an age to remember when Oasis and Blur were the 2 biggest bands in the UK go and see him now on tour. www.marcburrows.co.uk/live-dates?u...

It got a bit hazy last night so managed to grab a nice halo effect on the moon #moon #moonphotography #astrophotography #lunarphotography

After 17 days of not seeing the moon the skies finally cleared long enough to grab this. Decided to do a portrait one as well in case anyone fancies a phone wallpaper :) #moon #moonphotography #astrophotography #lunar #lunarphotography

Accurate about Trump, he’s a crook. He’s a gangster and thief. But… the people supporting him? They are fascists.

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 14/01/2026

Wait? What? 3 new @terrypratchett.bsky.social graphic novels coming from @rhi.bsky.social Now where can I sign up for the preorder?

Humans in 2050: “Many years ago in the distant past we used batteries to power things. We’d buy new ones, use them and then just throw them away.” “I’m bored of this story.” “Then shut up and eat your rad-rat.” “I want to go play with Billy.” “You can’t.” “Why not?” “We ate him last week.”

Meanwhile elsewhere I have some guy who probably wasn’t even born in 1976 telling me that punk music ended in 1978 because John Lydon created PiL and that was the end of punk. Every punk band after that was inferior and the rest of the punk bands that came out before 1978 just stopped making music 🤷‍♂️

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 11/01/2026

Yeah, unfortunately the courts have already ruled on what ICE can do. It’s pretty much whatever they want. Right now if you wanted to look up the definition of a police state, it’s the USA.

010

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 08/01/2026

Say it how it is. Kennedy has all the morals of a Nazi scientist conducting Nazi experiments on children.

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 08/01/2026

Everyone wondering why the local Minneapolis police didn’t arrest the ICE officer yesterday should look up my good friend @killermartinis.bsky.social and then remember the local police are just as bad as ICE.

The amazing thing about all of this, given both yours and mine shared experiences (education wise) is that despite being absolutely the right target audience for right wing propaganda and politics, both of us have turned out as we are. Seems we both read Judge Dredd and got the message.

Minneapolis has a problem with shooting people in the face…

This, he’s absolutely one of the least problematic people on the planet. He can be highly offensive, but he’s never offensive at anyone. He’s the comedian that everyone should aspire to be, never punching down. Whereas some others may seem like nice guys but they’re always punching down.

050

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 06/01/2026

He was angry for the right reasons and at the right people. He was a man that would fight for his fans. I know a few authors, but he was the only one I can say was a friend to his fans. And I miss his wit every day (as well as his taste in beer, in the pub around the corner from Forbidden Planet)

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 06/01/2026

Now that would be embarrassing. No, 200AD 😂

010

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 06/01/2026

Also just re-read my review and spotted a typo. Well at least I got your name right 😂

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 06/01/2026

I still have a few bits to get framed, but they’re not a standard size, so they’ll get added once I get them framed properly. Now how much longer do we have to wait for Rogue? I can hear Gunnar moaning about being held back…

100

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 06/01/2026

You took longer getting them framed and on the wall than I did with the ones that came with my copy 😂

Five out five now for 2026. The moon and a few stellar shots. Think that's the same nebula as yesterday, just below Orion's belt I believe. It's difficult to tell when zoomed in that far. #moon #moonphotography #lunarphotography #astrophotography

010

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 04/01/2026

Four in a row for 2026. Decided to try and grab a shot of Jupiter, not a great shot given it's just a camera, but not bad. Also caught a nebula, but no idea which one. #moon #moonphotography #lunarphotography #astrophotography

He thinks the world is a game, with 3 players. Britain played that game once, nearly won. Then the reality of stretching your influence across an entire globe came back to kick us in the nuts and all we have left is a shrinking Commonwealth.

Alien X Xenumorph @alien8n.co.uk · 03/01/2026

While I don’t believe we’re closer to rejoining the EU I do believe we’re now reaching the point where we need a new European focused NATO. Part of the EU’s mandate is a European armed forces without the US, Trump has now shown that this is a necessity and it is essential for the UK to take a role

Wanted some fun but unfortunately there wasn't an angle that meant I could get far enough away from the statue of King Alfred to get a good shot. That said, here he with a cone on his head and the usual phot of the moon as usual. #moon #moonphotography #astrophotography #lunarphotography

Wife’s grandfather flew Lancasters during the war. Had arguably the most dangerous job for anyone in a bomber, he was a Pathfinder. Finally shot down in 1944 and spent the rest of the war in Stalag Luft 1
