Not often I’ll do this but @20thcenturymarc.marcburrows.co.uk is a good friend and a rather good comedian. So *ahem* If you’re of an age to remember when Oasis and Blur were the 2 biggest bands in the UK go and see him now on tour. www.marcburrows.co.uk/live-dates?u...

A few days late but here's the first quarter moon from Tuesday night. #moon #moonphotography #lunarphotography #astrophotography

Wasn't expecting the sky to clear but here we are. Another night, another moon. #moon #moonphotography #astrophotography #lunarphotography

It got a bit hazy last night so managed to grab a nice halo effect on the moon #moon #moonphotography #astrophotography #lunarphotography

After 17 days of not seeing the moon the skies finally cleared long enough to grab this. Decided to do a portrait one as well in case anyone fancies a phone wallpaper :) #moon #moonphotography #astrophotography #lunar #lunarphotography

it was a bit cloudy last night so last night's moon is actually this morning's moon. #moon #moonphotography #lunarphotography #astrophotography

You took longer getting them framed and on the wall than I did with the ones that came with my copy 😂

Five out five now for 2026. The moon and a few stellar shots. Think that's the same nebula as yesterday, just below Orion's belt I believe. It's difficult to tell when zoomed in that far. #moon #moonphotography #lunarphotography #astrophotography

Four in a row for 2026. Decided to try and grab a shot of Jupiter, not a great shot given it's just a camera, but not bad. Also caught a nebula, but no idea which one. #moon #moonphotography #lunarphotography #astrophotography

Okay, with everything going on in the world we need a timeline cleanse (and it’s only day 3 of 2026 dammit) Here, have some hamsters (watch till the end)

The first full moon of the year and the year's only supermoon. Decided to have a little play. Which is the original photo without editing, which is the edited photo and which is the edited stacked photo? #moon #moonphotography #lunarphotography #astrophotography #fullmoon #wolfmoon #WolfMoon2026

Wanted some fun but unfortunately there wasn't an angle that meant I could get far enough away from the statue of King Alfred to get a good shot. That said, here he with a cone on his head and the usual phot of the moon as usual. #moon #moonphotography #astrophotography #lunarphotography

With the 2x and 600mm you hardly need to crop, the crop I did on this one was about 10% at most. This one is without the teleconverter, roughly 60% crop to get the proportions right

Moon last night using the teleconverter. Came out better than I hoped. #photography #astrophotography #moon #moonphotography #lunarphotography

A quick edit of one of my moon photos with The Birthday Massacre logo. One guess who I'm photographing later this week :)

So ScotRail has announced their new uniforms and the photo has one of the men wearing a kilt. It’s very obviously a kilt. The Telegraph however has determined that the man wearing the kilt must be transgender because it must be a skirt. Needless to say the Scottish part of the internet aren’t happy

A screenshot of The Telegraph’s opinion page where “journalist” William Sitwell doesn’t understand what a kilt is in order to be transphobic.

A cropped in photo of a train conductor wearing their new uniform approved kilt. Not a skirt. Also, look at socks, often worn with a kilt. Not a skirt.

The cat has discovered the heated blanket. So heated blanket + cat means I’m roasting… she doesn’t care, she’s warm

An absolute monster of a gallery of The Who tribute band Who’s Next. Helped mainly by their insanely talented guitarist Dante Dicarlo who spent more time in the air than he did on the ground. I hear he has a book out… www.facebook.com/share/14LUPV...?
