I finished @marygthompson.bsky.social's Precious Children today. I couldn't put it down! Clones, shared bodies, creepy kids, dysfunctional families, dysfunctional societies. It made me wonder about my own parenting in the best possible way.

Vegans going to LACon: The absolute best option near the convention center is Vegan Pizza in Garden Grove. I've driven 2 hours to eat there because it's amazing, and it's only a long walk or a short drive from the Hilton. They deliver. It's affordable. It's delicious. 🍕 #LACon, #vegan

I'm already a member of the SLF! The SLF has weekly co-writes, in-person critique groups, local chapters, online courses, reading series, and grants. It was how I found my writing group. Would love to see more people join. It's a great organization.

In my 20's I got to see Marjane Satrapi in LA. My friends and I were able to approach her and tell her how much we loved Persepolis, both the books and the movie. I told her we had watched the movie in theaters three times, and she said "Three times? You are good kids," and gave us a hug.
