Why are we all so sure Absolute Green Arrow is Oliver Queen. 1) Connor Drake was green Arrow for like a decade after Olly’s death in the 80s. 2) Connor is the only Speedy who wasn’t on the suspect list. 3) AGA shows zero 0 skin. A son’s revenge, is just as good a story as a vengeful spirit.

I went to uni with a guy from Greece. When he first arrived he was very clearly realised by those he interacted with. Which made sense. His skin was much darker than most everyone else, and he has black curly hair. 1/2

I teach high school in Florida, where there’s a concerted effort to keep queer kids from accessing this kind of art. Because even our enemies know that this stuff MATTERS. I’ve known many kids that needed Galaxy, or someone like her, and I’ve seen the difference getting that need fulfilled can make.

Watching Netflix’s one piece adaptation and Taz Skylar’s eyeline is never actully on the CGI characters. No shade though. It’s hard to maintain those eyelines and I’m sure the onset previs is at fault too. It’s just very funny that he’s never looking at them XD

Caption boxes are just tailless thought balloons at this point. Like some people still use them as an out of time narrator. But others are just using them as thought balloons. Why don’t we just designate thought balloons?

I feel like traditional 8x10 comic format is currently acting as a roadblock to new readers. Young readers are used to books that are digest size, around 200 pages and numbered sequentially. So manga is a much easier pick up than single issues.
