Part if my conversation with Eldest Niece involved telling her about one of my youthful, uh, pecadillos: the 24yo I dated at 15. No, not a typo. I am grateful that nothing serious came of it. EN said, well, things were different 35 years ago. a) not THAT different and b) 👵

#kids I helped register people to vote at Pride, then took Eldest Niece to a cat cafe where she of course wanted to adopt half the cats. Then we sat outside and talked for quite a while. Good day. :)

Two cats on a wall with shelves and bridges built especially for cats. An orange one is sitting on one shelf and looking over her shoulder at a cat toy. A gray cat is leaning over from the shelf above trying to grab the toy, dangling off the end with her paws and head in mid-air.

A chunk tabby (I think) cat, sitting inside a box with a circle cut out on one side, showing her face, and a square cut out on the next side, where some extra of her that doesn't fit in the box is hanging out.

Today's plans include the twin's house for laundry, New Haven Pride to register people to vote, and the cat cafe! All on 6 hours sleep! Oops!

I was supposed to be off at 4 but the auditors (who, to be fair, are in different time zones) have decided that now is the time to ask for ALL the followups.
