We took a trip to Munich the other week for Christmassy fun and I put together some swirly posters for the occasion.

I had a design chosen to be a part of this year's Secret 7' charity auction for War Child. I chose the Jessie Ware song 'Beautiful People' and put together a design based on a decadent 1920s style champagne party. My sleeve eventually sold for £50, hurrah!

I've managed to do a 2000 day streak on Duolingo, which is pretty decent! almost certainly binning it now though, I'm not learning anything and very much keeping my streak going for the sake of it, so what's the point? Duolingo being a bit crap with their AI stuff doesn't help either really.

Inspired by the magnolias I saw on a walk the other day, a couple of small designs I put together last week. Experimenting a bit with the texture and blending modes to see how far I want to push it. I quite like how they turned out.

Second post of work of the day... I love chocolate so I made up a fictional chocolate brand and illustrated its wrapping. The goal was to develop something tropical and vibrant to reflect the natural origins of the brand. Features lots of decorative cocoa pods and psychedelic floral and fauna.

We visited Berlin last year which was mucho fun. In an effort to try out some travel illustration I created these designs combining some architecture, typography, and lots of swirly bits. I quite like them!

I'm currently putting together a new portfolio site for my recent work. In the meantime, I redid a piece I liked from a couple of years ago in my new style. I created a portrait of Ronnie Spector after she passed away so here she is, judging me.
