The RTB still can’t compel landlords to lower rent if investigators spot illegal hikes. Changes to make it possible were to be included in a new law, when first announced. But they were dropped.

If this man genuinely believes the reason we can’t afford apartments is because of balconies than we have a much bigger problem at hand than the cost of balconies. He also thanks the government for reducing apartment sizes! This stuff can’t even be made up
