Catsaro head? Asaro cat! (Just realised I never actually posted this here – I’ve been doing some lighting studies in my absence, maybe this can help someone else! 🫡) #furry #furryart #warriorcats #arttips

A greyscale lighting study, depicting a sphere for reference, a value scale, and the stylised head of a cat with all the planes of the face, similar to the human Asaro Head.

On that note, never send money via family & friends – PayPal (and other processors) offer buyer protection and you ARE a buyer, so don’t let anyone guilt trip you into forfeiting that right. Charging upfront is the artist’s most common security measure against scams, and buyer protection is yours.

Hey, it's OCtober! I write a character-driven werid fiction/cosmic horror novel with modern political fantasy elements. I also draw. My characters are 24/7 on my mind and I will use every opportunity to show them to everyone. Here are my queer, fanatical, celestial-themed lizards. #art #oc #ocsky

A blue anthropomorphic lizard with spotted skin, dark blue eyes with glowing star-shaped irises, and bright glowing starry marks on her forehead and chest. She is wearing a silver halo crown, a dark blue veil resembling a braid, decorated with vibrant blue flowers, a silver decorative corset, silver decorative forearm cuffs, and a dark blue dress with a high neckline and a wide hood attached to the sleeves. The background is dark blue, full of stars.

A blue-skinned anthropomorphic lizard wearing white robes with a wide hood, golden jewelry, and a blue cape with golden celestial embellishments. His eyes are golden, and his skin—blue with darker spots. He is holding a white rose in his right hand. There's a bleeding, star-shaped wound on his left hand. The background is purplish blue with golden swirls and a halo surrounding the character's head. There are two smaller frames on the sides of the artwork, each containing decorative blakthorn flowers, four-pointed stars, and bones.

Digital artwork divided into four sections. The first section, the major one, is a large rectangle filling the left side of the illustration. Inside it there is an anthropomorphic lizard with dark gray skin, turquoise spots, a long curly tail, and crystal-like markings on her right hand. She is wearing a light pink shirt with wide sleeves, blue pants, tall dark shiny boots, and a thick blue veil resembling two ponytails. She is floating in the space with a dynamic pose and holding an eyeball with a black sclera, vibrant blue iris, and star-shaped white pupil. The smaller three sections are on the right side of the picture. They portray two yucca plants with parasitic flowers and eyes, a hand holding an eye with a dividing iris, and an eel with many eyes on its body. Backgrounds of all sections are dark blue, filled with stars.

An anthropomorphic lizard holding a blue glowing lily flower. She has blue spotted skin, white glowing star-shaped markings on her hands and forehead, and dark eyes with starry white pupils. She is wearing a dark blue dress, a blue cape with a celestial pattern, a dark veil resembling a braid, and a second, thin, semi-transpernt flowy veil with starry emroidery. Silver jewelry complements the whole outfit. The background is an elongated frame containg cosmic space—dark, full of stars.

Annnnd attempt 2 at rendering Quili! I like this one much better, I think the values are a little more distinct and it feels a bit more cohesive. I'll count this as a win #furryart

Attempt number one at rendering this 👀 I like it from a technical perspective, but some things definitely still bother me and I can't quite put my finger on what... too much contrast everywhere, so the face doesn't get as much focus, maybe? Or maybe some colours are off? Who knows lol #furryart

See 'cause THIS is the better solution. This right here: the ability to label, tag and filter content so people can decide what they do or do not want to see.

This is not about what I personally am comfortable with, it’s about companies trying to be squeaky clean to make more money at the expense of ousting the people who made their site, product, idea etc successful in the first place. I think it’s foolish to think a ban starts and stops with this.

I don’t even draw NSFW, nor do I plan to, but make no mistake, this is very much a sex-positive space. I’m a grown-ass adult, all I need are the tools to filter out what I don’t want to see. Labelling, tagging, filtering, yes. Censorship, no. Fuck off.

I can draw anything. I can make characters as abstract or grounded as I please. I can put them in peril or paradise at the flick of a wrist and the wisp of a whim. I can tear them to shreds and they'll be fine because I decide they're fine. Because it's all fake. You are trying to chain daydreams
