Wild how often variations of this line about the private sector needing to get involved in African agriculture gets rehashed and how each time the people saying it act like it's the first time anyone's said such a thing.

I've been writing my book for several months now, paid for a more advanced model. Took a break. Came back.
Now Ms. GPT says she can't generate content in the style of specific authors. My prompts were soooo specific and I got exactly what I wanted out of them. For example,
'rewrite in the literary style of 'author here' with abundant dialogue and detail avoiding staccato prose. That was my go-to. Or 'please write and flesh out in the style of
'author' etc. they tightened the ropes. I have no idea how to get around this other than maybe feed it prose I already edited that's technically mine? Fuck.

Who cares about fast food work, right? It might be the lowest and least respected form of labor in this country, but the ascent of AI at the drive-thru window could soon preview changes that will touch a lot of other people, as well.

THANKS EVERYONE!
Our subscription campaign goal was to get to 250 founding members, and we are DELIGHTED TO SAY THAT WE BLASTED PAST IT, to (at present) 259! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who's contributed to making this rickety little thing we were building out of scraps and stolen time into something that, ok, we're still building out of that, but now we actually have some money. More importantly, we have a level of certainty about the near future that lets us plan and build in ways we couldn't have before. THANK YOU! Now, does that mean we don't need more members? Of course not: 250 is the floor for what we want to do, but the ceiling is quite a bit higher than that, and every dollar you give us will continue to go to hardworking writers in compensation for them writing things. So if you want to be the person that puts us over the top, EVEN MORER? Well, here you go, slam that subscribe button.
