Sad to hear another dubbing/recording studio closing down: Salami Studios who did the dub for Cyberpunk Edgerunners, the prior dub for Prince of Tennis as well as countless cartoons and video games. They've done some tremendous work across the industry and will be missed by many.

Stu Levy, wasn't the Kodansha stuff Tokyopop printed years ago not good enough for you? This is one hella unprofessional email from a big manga company if I've seen one.

I've seen VHS and DVD a ton, lots of Blu-Rays and even Betamax and HD-DVD but never in my life had I seen a laserdisc in person until last week. Game store had a whole bunch of them and although I don't have a laserdisc player it was still a lot of fun checking them out.

For the first Pokemon anime movie since 2020 (and the first without OLM involved), this definitely looks like such an interesting breath of fresh air. If it captures similar enough vibes to Yu-Gi-Oh, then I'm sold! Also Mimikyu! Such an adorable little fella.

Two weeks ago but man, had no idea this happened. For those who don't know what Rainbow was, it was basically the UK equivalent to Sesame Street running from the 70's up until 1992 (and an awful 94 revival). Ronnie was such a legend for bringing Zippy to life. metro.co.uk/2026/07/27/l...
