Excited to share our new paper: “How to run a language-inclusive international conference”. rdcu.be/fs8cJ At #ICCB2025, we implemented language-accessibility measures to support 1,890 participants from 90 countries/territories, and we showed they worked (see Fig S2)! #languagebarriers 1/5
Types of support provided at ICCB 2025 and types of language barriers that each support aimed to mitigate.Fig S2 shows that the language-accessibility support provided at ICCB 2025 reduced perceived language barriers among non-native English-speaking participants, especially for presentation preparation and networking.
