Illustrating a new series called the #mentalhealthzoo Opted for ink on watercolor paper look as I used to draw a lot with an old school tip, Scriptol Ink and actual watercolor paper. Now I achieve the same look digitally and I love it. Back to the roots! #illustration #editorialillustration

Heute Abend waren wir in Igelsberg im Schwarzwald bei einer Bücherlesung - Hannah Häffner hat Ihren Roman Die Riesinnen vorgestellt und abgelesen, super spannend, bin gespannt auf mehr. War toll.

If it wasn't the president it'd be grotesquely funny. This is a 3 year old throwing temper tantrums. There is nothing mature, honest or classy about this person. Whatsoever. And with his upbringing and life, it's not surprising either. Dude never had to face real consequence and hardship.

Sadly I think fixing all the damage he's done will take decades. Even on just a societal level so much is broken nationally and internationally

They can laugh all they want now. So did Hitler and his buddies in the 1930s. They all thought tgey were on the winning side of history. History will remember all of this though.

Since this is a trend on instagram right now I thought why not share here 😉 in my work I focus mainly on illustration with a huge passion, but I did get to create a few brands here and there so here's some black only versions of them

This was so nice to work on and redo. The original was drawn a few years ago, and I have developed my style and eye since. I prefer playing with texture and muxing watercolor and texture brushes with an otherwise minimalistic coloring style, as a contrast I like to look at in other artists as well.
Illustration that highlights helplessness, immobility, being controlled by external forces.
Don't lose your voice. Your mind, your will. You are all you have.

Redoing old illustrations for style and editorial purposes and seeing if I can get the same style results as raster drawings in Procreate(left) or as vector Illustration in Fresco (right wip). Using the same color palette and style, as well as texture but keep outlines and color/shading vector.
Handdrawn mental health Editorial Illustration describing the feeling of helplessness, loss of control and autonomy. A woman is seen with hands and feet bound and unable to move freely. The arms cover her face and her identity is hiddenWork in progress for a handdrawn mental health and emotionality illustration called loneliness of a woman who is eventually very small in a big nothing, with a light shown on her, but nothing else. A true feeling of alone-ness

Sometimes I think we should find a new planet and take only all the people with exceptional compassion and emotional intelligence to start a new civilisation but then I think they would feel so bad to leave everyone else behind to destroy themselves they wouldn't get themselves to actually do it

A concept on how we grow together - when we stop competing and start nurturing each other instead. The idea that real connection means letting the other one flourish. The idea that nurturing another leaves NO one starving if everyone cares about nurturing others.
Two figures watering each others minds, illustrated by their heads being open, filled with nurturing soil, growing beautiful fresh sprouts nourished by each other. It speaks to the beauty of mutual care and supporting mutual wellbeing rather than caring solely about one's own gain regardless of the people around us. Illustrating if we all care about nourishing the others, we inevitably will be nourished as well.

It's funny because he started it and now makes it look like he's a victim in this with us Europeans not helping him. It's always easier to blame others. He started a war without having any idea what he's doing and now doesn't know how to end things so he grasps at straws
