Their investment into gentrification (not regeneration) of parts of Manchester, is the same reason the likes of Escobar used to pay for a village football pitch. It's cheap to them and buys useful idiots. "Look what they've done for the community" is you acting as their human shield.

If you love satire and want a bloody good laugh, this Man City statement is for you! Overwhelming evidence to show they're innocent, but couldn't be arsed to hand it over or cooperate. Who'd have thought being owned by an absolute monarchy who abhor the rule of law could do such a thing?

Club Statement
Manchester City FC is both disappointed and surprised by the opinion of the Premier League Commission, that has been published today.

Dead City season 3 or "Gimmicks Galore." In true TWD style, they decided they needed a character to have abrupt turns in behaviour to drive plot. Negan was pivoting so sharply, surprised he didn't get whiplash. Ep 6 in particular was a writers exercise that took the piss out of the audience.

Rodri... Now Mancini... I expect another well rehearsed but disingenuous cry of innocence from Guardiola. They know what they got was through deliberate circumvention. Wipe them from their records, render their medals meaningless and spoil those memories. They knew the money they were taking.

This weekend, I was mostly listening to... Had this since I was 18. What few dispensable quid I had then went on it. Hoping a guy with that name and name checked by many wouldn't be a let down. He'd been undersold! The heaviest blues, none of the covers could capture him.

There's a step at Argyle between Blocks C and D which nearly took out three people. Shins were in danger. It's not as successful as the step I sat next to at Villa Park in '92. That took out a then £100 worth of food and drink. Burgers, after chips, after tea all went a flying. #pafc

Trigger used to keep a team pinned back, partially because he would frustrate the hell out of centre backs and they'd foul him. Pepple is very capable of that, is more athletic than Trigger but he's inconsistent at it. He needs to be an utter pain in the ass for 90 mins. #pafc

This is what we look like to the referee, trying to get free-kicks. Our overacting is to the standard of a local am-dram society deciding to do a "comedy" saucy panto about Snow White. #pafc

Half-time musings: In a race, our defence is easier to skin than a rabbit with a zip on its back. Reverted partially to dropping easily on contact and going all doe eyed begging for free-kicks. Why can't our strikers head? Do they close their eyes? Their eyebrows at weird angles? #pafc

Maybe this is the poor dude's problem, his peak was in that type of academy style football. It's too easy for them these games, as we saw with Finn last season. They're also not an especially good barometer as to where they are. Getting over the bridge is the tricky part. #pafc

I do like a bit of online guitar "window shopping" on Reverb. Some of the prices people think they can get are beyond absurd. A Guild Red Special copy for nearly £5k? Really? Brian May would have to have hand carved the bloody thing in front of me to consider coughing up for that.

Pepple enters Argyle's 100 top scorers. Granted 22 is enough to get in, but here a Canadian joins two Englishmen, a Scotsman, a Welshman, and a New Zealander. Side note - if you can get hold of copies of Garry Nelson's diaries, I recommend. Far more insightful than the usual football guff. #pafc

Irow is now only one goal away from being our second highest goal scorer for players whose surname begins with I. He's 16 away from the top scoring Billy Ingham (1907-1909). Neil Illman, he's coming for ya! Unless Bradly Ibrahim starts banging them in. Which would complicate things a little. #pafc

Ballon b'Ore, sorry Ballon d'Or nominees who've been missed - 1. Fullbacks who launch the ball cross field and get a round of applause, regardless how useful it is. 2. Old YouTube showreels that make someone look "class". 3. Long-term injured. All become vital to a team on the treatment table.

What continually makes me chuckle, is that the conditions that led to VAR were initiated by Sky decades ago, filling hours of pointless, dull coverage, then joined by managers, players and phone-in fans. They shouted about it. Wanted unrealistic expectations of officials. Live with your creation.

The women have actually improved... Still not good enough though, 2 down at half time. One of which is due to the continued dedication to comedically complex goal kick routines. In true "One Argyle" style, Babcock have their names on the shirts before the players do. #pafc

Gary Poole's birthday! One season and done. A nice little earner on him from a free from a Barry Fry led Barnet, to £350k from Barry Fry on a spending spree at Southend. Tough, athletic unit and a good penalty taker. Was gutted when he went, but then his replacement was one Mark Patterson... #pafc

An entire day of talking about what to do about culture in Plymouth. Granted these things don't always lead to any definitive answer. But at times the reminder that you're very much not alone swimming against a tide of cuts, apathy or dwindling access is welcome. None of its bloody easy mind!

Looked up any interesting connections between Argyle and Doncaster. Zero. No way I could do anything on Jordan Houghton as Bluesky don't have sideways scrolling threads. So marvel at Paul Mardon who played 3 games on loan for each, ten years apart, scoring in a 5-2 tonking by Cheltenham. #pafc
