🌱 Preprint! Traits associated the 'C2' photorespiratory CO2 pump shows phenotypic plasticity, but only in species with sufficient organelle and GDC investment in the bundle sheath. We think acclimation may expose cryptic phenotypes to selection and facilitate evolution. #PlantScience #Evolution 🧪
