Hey, @effinslowbeef.com! We're knee deep in coverage for Policenauts on @metalgearmondays.bsky.social and our interview convo got cut a bit short. Mailer Daemon says your inbox is full, so DM if you're still interested. We'd love to have you on and I know the listeners would love to hear from you!

Day 2: Prior to deployment, I called my nearest enlistment office to inquire about the yard front. I was told that supply drops would be provided, but that the act of de-weeding would be left in my "capable" hands. This wouldn't be tough, I thought. I was so wrong. #AllQuietOnTheDomesticFront

Day 1: I'd dodged the draft. Neighbors received their papers last week. I was spared. But, today, there was a notice on my door. Reason for HOA citation: "invasive weeds present in front yard". I'd discover that my deployment would be far longer than I ever imagined. #AllQuietOnTheDomesticFront

One of my best friends, @lillianadawn.bsky.social, is going through tough times and is moving out of Ohio. The state, like others, is dismantling protections for trans residents. Lilli could use your help. Anything would be appreciated. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important. gofund.me/6fe60d9d

Another No Budget Summer Film Workshop wrapped up. These kids always blow me away. Kids were shown local artists' work and went out and adapted into an experimental short film. Screening at the Southerly 1007 Ave B, Opelika, AL tonight at 7:00. Photos courtesy of Zac H, Justin H, and Didimos J

Yeesh... we accidentally cooked up a very meaty episode, but it's a fun one! #MetalGearMondays is everywhere that good podcasts are found (😉). Consider sharing and/or rating/reviewing!

Always happy to be asked to provide an article for @ps3forever.bsky.social and this one was a lot of fun. Very technical PS3 stuff for flashing custom firmware and doing some hardware cleanup, for anyone that's interested: playstation3forever.com/issues/issue...

@ragnarrox.bsky.social huge fan, longtime viewer. A good friend shared this gem with me today and it seems as if no one is covering it. Think King's Field meets Cruelty Squad, add horror and religion. Would love to hear your thoughts. store.steampowered.com/app/3603070/...

Recently had the privilege of writing a piece for PlayStation 3 Forever, a great independent retro games e-magazine. Enjoyed the excuse to research and discuss one of my favorite game studios. Give it a read, if you have interest in some of the weirder Sony back catalog.
