A good rule of thumb: If the press release (or stenographic news reporting masquerading as journalism) says that an "AI" did something, that's deliberate obfuscation. Software doesn't do anything of its own accord, but folks sure like to talk about it as if it does: >>

What's the best use of AI for accessibility you've tried in real projects beyond "fix this" working on production projects? I've only done `a11y-review` skill, generating some tests for CI, document accessibility issues at Linear when found, and that's pretty much it. Looking for creative ideas.

Just as SECURITY.md defines how to handle vulnerabilities, ACCESSIBILITY.md defines the inclusive state of a project. It is a human and machine-readable manifest that tracks a project’s commitment to a11y through metrics, guardrails, and automated enforcement. ❤️ github.com/mgifford/ACC...

It's been YEARS (more than a decade) for me not working with Russian speaking folks and my new PM speaks Russian. Fun fact, my brain is wired up differently for Spanish, English and Russian and wow speaking automations and agents in Russian is really hard 🫠

I got married last Saturday and was completely disconnected from the world. I still have a week of marriage leave left, and I'll spend it preparing material for an a11y workshop for a design school in BCN. I love teaching young designers: forms, labels, color contrast, and all of the fun things ❤️

Ramp table UI is honestly so good. Fully functional with the keyboard (not fully accessible as there are a few color contrast failures, but it’s functional), and the focus ring is styled. ✨
Requests table in Ramp website. 4 tabs: all, needs action, pending, drafts. Table lists Requests. Other columns: Frequncy, Payment methods, Start date, Auto-lock date. Main CTA Request in yellow-green color is in the right top corner. A button “Cuatomize columns” is focused with the focus ring shown in black.

The term Majority World refers to countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, and Indigenous peoples. It is an alternative to terms considered to be derogatory such as "Third World" or "Developing World."
