You really need a guide to figure out how to set up Retroarch the first time, it's so needlessly complicated... But I also heard Delta is pretty good for retro emulation on iPhone, although it's not available in my country so I never got to check it out.

To hit another modern game dev topic (but in a different thread cause this isn't a 3d/2d thing).. I really feel like we've fucked up the perception of Bosses. It's not that modern bosses are bad, but we're stuck with the 'test of what you learned' gitgud style boss. And tbf we're good at making them

I knew I would only use the wireframe version, so the model itself is just the basic mercenary enemy type with a slightly different cap, no breathing equipment and a longer scarf. Here it is :)

So, I actually didn't have plans to show the protagonist in the game at first and never made a fully 'unique' model for them, but then when I was working on the autosurgery station late in development, I felt it needed some kind of a representation for the main character in its menus.
