officially 6 weeks post sinus surgery this week, finally reaching the point where i just generally am able to breathe through both nostrils like a normal person but i still have somewhere between 7 and 20 weeks until my face is truly Healed from it all. kinda crazy???

last weekend for jade got us bikes for her birthday and we took our first bike ride today… i’ve never ridden a bike with gears or on a street with cars 😭 it’s not like it’s hard but i have a lot of anxiety about it lol. im just not super comfortable & thinking too hard about it… ugh. but we made it!

2.5 weeks post sinus surgery, mostly feel ok, a little tired, but every time i’m more active and do anything more than just laying on the couch i end up coughing/sneezing up the most insane shit 😭 but at least it’s once i’m in the safety of my home usually and im not subjecting others to this

had septoplasty (and 9000 other sinus procedures) on monday, last surgery for a while i hope! honestly was miserable monday into tuesday but it is much more bearable now. next monday i get the splints out and ill be on the other side of recovery!

before & after getting my carpal tunnel & trigger finger surgery re-wrapped— i got really sweaty at an outdoor concert venue in august lol— the bottom incision is carpal tunnel & the top is the trigger finger/ganglion cyst excision. pretty much no pain, full range of motion, just no pressure—

so I actually had carpal tunnel surgery yesterday along with a ganglion cyst removal and trigger finger release. I feel like this is like every artist nightmare but it’s actually been a very pleasant experience, all things considered. I want to do a proper blog right up on it later

Nice AI-image-generating tool, but it will never be as great an artist as Onfim, a child who lived in the Novgorod Republic in the mid-1200s and who scribbled these drawings and schoolwork writings on birch bark at the age of 6 or 7.
